Any one listen to this everyday story of country folk on BBC Radio 4

Am rather surprised at the amount of gay couples and relationships that are happening in Ambridge and Borchestershire

Gotta admit I am seriously hooked on the plot lines

I prefer ‘The Bowmen’ - the episode with Tony Hancock.

Llandrindod Wells

Not listened to the Archers for a good many years. Did hear they had the first gay scene of any soap.

How are Dan and Doris getting on these days?

Grantham

Patricia Greene who played Jill Archer has passed aged 95

Last of a certain generation in Ambridge

And arguably the longest serving actor in a continual role

Newcastle - Throckley

I'm looking forward to the day:

"There will be no edition of The Archers today as nothing much happened in the village"

Chelsea is brilliant

Paddington

"Oooh noooo David" says Ruth Archer in her Geordie accent. Who will bake for them now, as Ruth is not much of a cook. End of an era. I'd like to live next door to Lillian, she'd be a fun drinking companion and Chris Carter would be some eye candy in his farrier gear.
