Someone in here has admitted to me on my whatsapp that they have HIV they have shown me videos of them receiving anal from unknown men who are not wearing any protection. This is alarming. What should be done, this is wrong

You have no idea if the guys know the hiv status of the other of vis versa. They could both be positive, there could be full disclosure. You also don’t know the viral load of the person it could so low that aren’t infectious.

Far too many unknowns to really do anything.

Ask for the vaccination, my local nhs are giving it, it’s not totally preventative but every little helps as Tesco say..

Get yourself tested, asap. Then decide if you are going to fuck bare or not? If you are get on Prep or get the injection. You can only protect yourself. A guy who is +ve could be on medication, undetectable viral load means untransmittable U=U

This isn't the 1980's anymore....

I'm on PrEP to protect myself....I have no issues meeting Poz guys, they are most likely on meds and undetectable which means U=U (Undetectable=Untransmittable)

To the OP, I would be more concerned meeting guys who rarely or never test, this is the main route of transmission as they don't know they are infected and viral load is likely to be high.

Surely by know you know that you've got to protect you.

Get jabs for:

HPV

Hep A B and C

MenB for gonorhea

Prep

Het checked regularly every 3mos if sexually active. You cannot cover all eventualities but this will go some way to putting mind to rest.

If you were on Prep and played with someone HIV+ you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

As some have already mentioned too...you could've played with someone HIV+ and on ART meaning they're U=U and again..absolutely zero to worry about.

Knowledge is power...

Well considering all the moaning from “the married guys” about how difficult it is to escape to meet, it would probably be just as difficult for them to get out to go to the sexual health clinic, or if they did hide the PrEP from the Mrs. In which case they would not only be a risk to those that they did manage to meet but also to their wife/partner.

So what? If you have sex with men regular then the chances are you've had sex with someone who has HIV, especially in London. I know a couple of people who have HIV and they are on medication which kills the virus down to such a low level that it cannot be passed on.

One of the people I know with it is someone who when he found out he had it told the clinic my name and number as id been with him before he knew, they contacted me and told me I should be tested, I did and I was fine, I then worked out who it was who told the clinic and called him and stayed friends and about 10 years later he is fine.

The poster is correct - married guys usually don’t get tested so there’s a much higher risk because most gay guys do simples

"Someone in here has admitted to me on my whatsapp that they have HIV they have shown me videos of them receiving anal from unknown men who are not wearing any protection. This is alarming. What should be done, this is wrong"

You have seen a video of a guy having sex who claims to be living with HIV.

" This is alarming. What should be done, this is wrong"

No pitchfork or drama needed. It's 2025, and a few decades late to get your knickers in a twist over people living with HIV having sex.

I checked your profile, I thought prehaps you would be in your 70s or live under a rock somewhere but you are only 40 and are in Feltham, you really should know better.

"Someone in here has admitted to me on my whatsapp that they have HIV "

As for his HIV status claim, it could be true, could be false, who knows as the internet is full of bs.

Anyhow, if true, then he could be taking meds to supress the viral load, meaning he can't pass on HIV sexually. TaSP/U=U Google it!

"receiving anal from unknown men who are not wearing any protection."

Their choice, also the partners in the video, could be aware of his HIV status or they could be talking PrEP or they could be bug chasing, etc, etc, etc.

So calm down, prehaps mind your business, and instead focus on your own sexual health and risk reduction to a level you are comfortable with.

On that last topic, don't believe peoples claims about HIV status, PrEP usage or testing history, instead focus on yourself.

Perhaps go to a Sexual health clinic and prehaps get educated & professional advice on how you can be responsible for your own sexual health: Condoms, PrEP, DoxyPrEP and getting vaccinated against HPV, Hep B, etc.

Take it and give it as often as I can. Havent used a condom in decades. Unless you're on PrEP, you have more chance of contracting HIV than I do, or anyone else on prep, and an equal chance of picking up anything else. I'm sorry you lost people to HIV, but the world has moved on since and is a far, far safer place now. PrEP means we can fuck the way we like it with zero risk from HIV (ok, risk is never totally 0 for anything in life) regardless of our sex partner's status.

Wow. Some people on here have obviously not been near a sexual health clinic in years! If at all. You can even have a kit delivered free to your home, Shocking behaviour from men having sex with multiple partners.

I bet most of those think, as they don’t have symptoms, they can’t have an infection.

Get to a clinic and take advantage of all the opportunities available so you can protect yourself. Stop all this pearl clutching and learn the facts from a professional.

Lots has changed over the years, what was once a death sentence need not be (if you are checked and treated) and Prep should mean that doesn't happen. With regards to other STI s things seem to be also changing very quickly with not only treatments but prevention and ways to reduce the risks. In any case regular testing and updates from professionals is the answer.

Is not unsafe sex spreading diseases, it's lack of education and misinformation. I bet there are loads on here that have never visited a sexual health clinic, let alone been tested. More fool them.
