Last time I was there almost all of the bars were closed none open on Christopher Street. It’s like Christmas Day.

Also very little in the way of restaurants open on the day. But amazing to walk the empty streets.

You can also go see the Macy’s parade balloons blown up ready to go the night before.

But it is like Christmas Day here. Lots of people leaving town. Might do better the night before but was difficult to find anything open in the actual day.

Probably like Christmas, but more so. I was once in Miami on Christmas Day - almost everything closed. Had to settle for MacDs for Christmas dinner.

We land Wednesday evening but deffo heading to Macys parade Thursday for sure and NFL on Sunday bless my mum but shes up for that and then got all day Friday Saturday and monday to visits the areas she wants to as her holiday mainly. But ill need a release on my own when she goes to sleep near my hotel

If you have this problem in Manhattan try Jackson Heights in Queens as those bars will definitely be open.
