I’ve just had a night out in the City. Took me back to the days I worked there during the 90’s and early 00’s.

It’s so busy again which is fantastic, it’s great to see.

For those who worked there at the same time, please share your sordid memories.

For me, the east end strip pubs, closed pubs with gentlemen evenings upstairs, ladies wearing stockings to work,

Fuck they were good days

I used to drink in the pub on road that leather lane started on the pub was beneath the estate stripper's pub but forgot the name I pulled a beautiful Brazilian young lady who worked there as a stripper best 2 year of my life she opened my eyes and made me adventurous and open minded

Downham market

I worked in farringdon and then moorgate 1972-1976, they were magical days. The ladies were so beautiful, especially in the summer.

On Fridays when we got paid we'd visit a few pubs, most of them had a stripper and the music was amazing, truly great days.

I used to visit leather lane too, my shipping firm was on the corner in farringdon road. Near the station there was a record shop, I bought the Ziggy stardust album there

It’s the longest I’ve lived anywhere, so far. Left about 12 years ago. Used to go to the Bears night at Holborn. Bulk at the Market Tavern. Remember the strippers at the Colherne on a Sunday. Tony Star was great. All completely changed. Even the Colherne is now a straight bar after decades of being gay.
