Having a cage (I have several) and wearing it has now become an integral part of my very being.

Self locking can work. Luck yourself then post them to yourself without postage. It will take ages to get back to you and you’ll need to go and collect them. I’ve done it previously and it took over twos weeks before they turned up.

I’ve been self locking for years due to vanilla life, I’m always caged when playing and I usually caged at least 3/4 days a week, more if possible and I don’t always take the key with me, so sometimes I’m ’stuck’ in the cage for longer than planned

If I wanted to ensure mine stayed on for any length of time without risking involving a key-holder, I would consider either buying a lockbox with a timer, or putting the key in the middle of a water-filled 2 litre plastic bottle before freezing it. The frozen kettle option would be a good one as it is a low-cost option and would take a good long time to thaw but still very do-able.

The "safety" method I used a number of years ago when I had a Mistress as a key holder, I had a spare key in a sealed envelope which was inside another sealed envelope; and by sealed i mean securely sealed that would show any tampering.

I had to take this with me every time I saw my mistress, it was a fun time.

The other method is to use the security tags that are uniquely numbered
