At the moment there’s no impact to the usual facilities. The old room that once housed the pool table is being made into an extension of the current cafe bar area. The work on the steam room will involve tiling repairs at a later date. There’s a new entrance door from the bar area towards the changing rooms.

New lockers are on site ready to replace the existing older lockers. Most of the work will be done outside normal hours so disruption will be minimal.

Tuesday no towel day continues to be the busiest day and future plans are for late night events on Fridays and Saturday's with more of a cruising bar atmosphere with drinks, music and upstairs play areas without the wet facilities like steam, sauna and jacuzzi being available.

137 guys didn’t give it a miss yesterday for naked day. No one was disrupted. All facilities are working as normal. It’s not a building site !

Attended today (Monday 15th Dec) for the first time, was quiet as expected, approx 10-12 guys max when I was there between around 11:30am - 13:30pm

Fantastic 1st visit to the place, the gent behind the counter was really friendly, informative and approachable, gave me a quick tour of the place then I was left to explore at my own free will

As it was quiet, there was a lot of walking around upstairs at times but did see some action which was a nice turn on.

I had some anonymous fun in the dark room with one guy who fed me a big tasty load, closely followed by a 2nd guy who I didn’t realise was there initially. Sucked him but not to completion as another guy then took over

Time was against me but met a very nice mature gent to who was understanding and none pushy when I explained my wishes. Will definitely visit again probably when it’s a little more busy and I have more time. Very good experience though, fully recommend it. It is being renovated still but it’s completely sealed off. There is no contact with any workers. There was no works being carried out what I could hear anyway as I believe the works are carried out when it’s closed

Theres no building work taking place as such. Theres just some refurbishing work taking place in the old snooker table room that’s not been used for two years at least. This will become a new seating area leading off from the current bar. Theres no disruption to any of the usual facilities at the moment.

The jacuzzi temp has been increased slightly recently . The sauna is at the safe recommended temperature levels.

Bears day is usually well attended and it not just bears that go so something for all.

There’s free food in the afternoon too. Not sure this Saturday what’s on the menu. But previously it’s been a selection of pizzas. Sausage rolls. Hot dogs. Meatballs and pasta. Garlic bread. Theres usually a veg option too.

Tends to get a little quieter after 5.30pm. But normal hours are 11am till 9pm.

As a regular visitor and as said above Tuesday is definitely the busiest day. 120 to 150 guys visit during the opening hours. 11am till 9pm. Tell the staff it’s your first visit and we will explain the layout on the ground floor. You’ll soon find your way around upstairs and enjoy some nice times.

Best times are midday till around 6pm. £15 entry with flip flops and a locker key. You get a big towel to shower with and a small towel to walk around with on Tuesdays as it’s no towel day.
