Anyone else been overspending lately. I’ve spent so much this weekend I actually woke up around 4am this morning thinking about it. You just sort of get a spending spree zone 😂😂

I like the look of those but don't have the balls to use one anymore. I have some fruit trees that need pruning this winter but think I'll stick to my petrol pole pruner, i.e. a chainsaw on a stick.

that was a small part of it, just the boots alone. I ordered a jacket from Tokyo that I’ll probably get stung with import duty, another jacket from &Sons. I was all night in The Borough Friday night, out in Eton last night for an Italian. We’re talking serious wedge 🥴

You’re only overspending if you can’t afford what you are spending.

If you’ve only got £50 to last you the week and you have spent £40 by Monday lunch you’ve overspent. But if Elon Musk spent £5 million every hour, I doubt he would say he’d overspent.

I buy what I want when I need it, so can’t remember the last time I overspent. There’s been times I’ve thought I’d paid too much for something, but not overspent.

Living from payday to payday is overspending, as is buying on credit. It's sensible to have a reserve of at least £5k in order to cover for emergencies, and other unplanned expenditure.
