I’ve been getting skin tearing under my cock head/glans… taking ages to heal.

All tests are neg so nothing std based.

Have been playing hard lately but nothing usually happens like this.

Cut/circed only a few years back… any advice?

Plenty of lube when playing, and a barrier cream like vaseline or E45 when not. Show the penis some love

Standard practice… still pulling tight.

It’s lathered in cream now -

Always amazed by the number of people who use a forum on a sex site to seek medical advice. 🤦‍♂️

Now sitting back to see what crackpot cures are offered based on the vague description of the problem. Don’t let me down team forum. 😂

Are you on any meds? Some diabetic meds cause thrush and also tighten the skin - a type of gangrene

His Doctor would know what meds he is on and be able to treat him accordingly.

Instead he prefers to look for advice on here from people who can’t know all the relevant facts. 🤦‍♂️

Its almost impossible to get advice on sex issues in my experience.

Having gone to a private gp -£130

Gone to the local sexual health clinic.

I got absolutely no where

It’s not a sex issue. He has tears/ cuts on his penis. He has been checked for STIs but doesn’t say if he went to a Doctor. Unless he has done that and a Doctor has said he has no idea or not offered any treatment why would anyone think the best way to find a cure would be to ask here where the information he has given is sparse and no one can see the problem? FFS.

If I wank too much I get this! 🙈

Basically have to have a couple of days off it and I put a moisturiser or savlon (a small amount) on and it seems to do the trick

Google “Lesions on penis”

Once STIs are discounted then the cause could be anything from too much masturbation at the low end to penile cancer at the worst with many possibilities in between.

Stop wanking. If they don’t go away or improve quickly then see a Doctor.

If you believe cures offered on here then you probably also injected bleach or swallowed fluorescent lights during Covid.

Savlon is not suitable for use in that area!

Go visit your local urology triage clinic.

Had similar flare up after recent (July) adult circumcision. GP told me to contact urology and they saw me later that day, going back into hospital end of next week for it to be surgically dealt with.

Go get it looked at by the professionals

I recommend epaderm ointment from pharmacy. You don’t need a prescription. Found it really good after my circumcision.

I was circumcised back in March.

Still learning hiw to wank again cos of the changes. I've had similar. Little splits that are so painful sometimes even from the salt on my hands.

I alternate either 1 day a nice silicon hybrid lube, and another with a coconut oil moisturiser. 🥥

Heals by itself, although shouldn’t wank that hard/often.

… and potential ambiguity! Is mine a crackpot warning, or using Savlon a crackpot cure?

Of course, I know that Savlon is indeed unsuitable for this purpose and wholeheartedly agree that a visit to a GP/pharmacist/nurse would be more appropriate than seeking advice here.

"Yet it works.. so how’s that crackpot?!"

It may have worked for you but be 'problematic' (causing a reaction worse than the initial problem) for others, hence its general unsuitability in that particular area

Lots of comments - yes I have been to the GP. And seen two consultant urologists.

I had a late in life circumcision around 20 months ago as this was happening on my foreskin and got so frequent I took the medical advice and had it cut away.

And now it seems to be starting again.

I was told Savlon and Sudocrem were both fine.

I’m reluctant to use prescribed topical steroid cream as from experience this makes the healed skin brittle and this causes tears in the adjacent skin.

The experts aren’t seemingly finding answers so was interested to see what any sexually active members of a sex hook up sire might be experiencing that might be similar…

I’m thinking this might be more of a dermatological issue - anyone else finding this a problem.

And thanks for the advice about not wanking so hard… Jesus.

Carry on adding comments.

From absorbing this magnificent Forum for many months, I can recommend the following panaceas for penile lesions:-

1] Baking Soda.

2] Mindful meditation.

3] Extreme Sissification.

So to summarise:

You are reluctant to use prescribed creams (Prescribed implies by Doctor/specialist)

Experts can’t seem to find the answer

YOU think it may be dermatological

You don’t want to stop wanking for a while.

Your answer is to give minimal information (no visual evidence) to “experts” who are sexually active on a sex site.

Have you tried Voodoo or contacting a Witch Doctor?

In the meantime let’s hope you don’t have anything really serious happen to you as your go to treatments may now be on here 🤦‍♂️

My only reluctance is to blindly follow advice from an overloaded health service, drug companies selling ‘cures’ and any continuation of prescribed treatment I’ve found to not really solve the problems I’m experiencing and to hear if anyone else is experiencing anything similar.

Human biology and the pathogens and diseases that confront it are changing constantly… Covid19… AIDS/HIV… SARS…

So just seeing what people have to say alongside the ‘established’ medical opinion.

If you were told that Savlon was fine for this purpose by a medical professional, consider suing them?!

Do not use Savlon if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, especially Chlorhexidine as it's prone to causing allergic reactions (not pleasant or pretty!).

Chlorhexidine is a relatively recent addition to the formulation
