I think those days are well over, hotels don't really care if you're bringing a guy back to your room now. Maybe just look for one that doesn't require key access to the lift and post your status on here

Most now have lifts that requite you to scan your key to go up to the rooms, but in the hotels I've stayed at it would be easy to meet in the lobby area and go up together, no-one would be any the wiser.
