Sore arm after 1st one for a week, only sore when using arm not when relaxed, no other side effects. Sore arm after second one wasn't as bad and didn't last as long. Think my arm was more relaxed when getting the 2nd one so maybe that helps.

Exactly the same here. Other vaccines have been fine. But this is one is sore. unless we had the same nurse be a bit rough. Hahah

I enquired about the HIV jab too (prep tablet alternative)

… nurse explained there is an 8wk jab, quite expensive, so they’ll will prioritise those adverse to prep tablets first.

Non the less all great progression with meds

Has my first jab a fortnight ago. Injection site was painful for about a week (couldn't lie on that side in bed) but paracetamol helped. Getting my second jab in six months.

"I had it before I went to Gran caneria in October and took doxypep while I was there, what did I catch gonorrhea. So didn't help me."

I had mine recently when I had my routine check up and they said the vaccine and DoxyPEP only gave some partial protection but when used on a large scale would reduce the overall number of infections. They stressed it was still really important to have regular checks and to be aware of symptoms (if any).
