Not Fab but the lad in the Vodafone shop was searching through my apps for something and Grindr was there clear to see. I hadn't even used it in a long time which made my outing even more frustrating. He didn't react but I wouldn't be surprised if he mentioned to his colleagues when I left.

Not fab as such but I used to work for a large mobile phone network and had to deal with people calling into complain about their bills.We had to be discreet about the "adult services"

I remember one guy I worked with telling a customer that his sons £300 bill was because he'd been using charged gay contact sights then the resulting argument that his son would never do such a thing and he had a girlfriend and everything.

After that we'd just tell them the short code for the service and how to check it via OFCOMS website

I worked as a phone repairer that came out to fix your phone at your house or wherever

I once found a phone that came up with loads of gay porn notifications, they never tried calling the phone but a few days later and the phone rung and it was my local Asda, they were trying to find out why he wasn’t in at work. Told them I had found the phone, took it round to them but cleared all his gay porn notifications before handing it in.

Not by resetting the router but there should be a way to see domains that have been visited through the router and delete accordingly

Not on here, but I remember years ago sitting behind a guy on the train who was scrolling through another website and messaging various guys.

He used to travel in with his wife everyday so was a real shock...

Nope. The admin panel stores the information. It won't show full URLs such as a fab profile, but it will show the site has been visited and when. It's how my wife's mate was able to discover her partner had been secretly gambling away loads of money and had been ordering brasses off adult sites

My friend got caught that way. Best thing that ever happened to him according to him.

He was at home preparing food for a family bbq with family on the way. One daughter was in the room, his wife in the home office. He said , he doesn't know how it happened as he never turned it on. But, that particular day he got a grindr notification and one of his daughter saw it. She thought it was just a dating app and didn't realise it was for gay sex.

Anyway, she asked him about it and told her it was an app for meeting people. She was worried and wanted to figure it all out. They immediately went to his other daughter's room (they're both early 20s at the time) and he told her too. Then he went to the study and told the wife.

They cancelled the family bbq and went for a walk. He told the wife he was gay and they tried to make it work for a while - she was very experimental in bed. They looped the kids in on the bits they needed to know. After about 6 months of that expermenting, he said it wasn't working, that although they had a great sex life, he was gay and didn't want the relationship to continue in that regard.

Fast forward 5 years. He, his wife and daughters still maintain a very happy life, although he moved out. His wife has a new man and one of his daughters came out as bisexual and currently has a girlfriend.

I opened my laptop to type in some notes and there it was in all its glory for everyone behind and either side of me to see.

If you want to remain discrete, and for Android users at least, you have a secure password protected function on your phone called "secure folder". Basically you can use and add apps to your heart's content and when you close the folder and switch the function of... hey presto your world of wonder is shielded and is a thing of Mystery to anyone but yourself

I used to be very discreet about it but I really don't care anymore. As far as I'm concerned, they shouldn't be looked at my phone lol.

I started a new job a few months back. On the first day I had a scroll on grindr and a guy started talking to me, asked me what I was doing. I told him it was my first day at a new job. Then, he said is my new job at "inset company name". I said yes.

Turns out it was my company CEO that I hadn't met yet lol. He made a joke about double standards , that I obviously can't get in trouble because he was on there too. I was on my break and it was nobodys business anyway. We agreed to just block each other and moved on lol.

A few weeks later I was watching one of the live cams on here. For some reason when my phone screen goes fades to black the audio kept playing. I was away from my desk with essentially porn playing on my personal phone, although it couldn't be seen it could be heard. Someone pointed it out to me. I was mildly embarrassed for about 5 seconds and stopped caring lol. Nobody has brought it up since. Probably because they watch porn too sometimes. Shocking revelation, I know.
