Damn!!!!!

Trust me to end up with a stalker on FAB Guys.

I'll block him then he'll open up a new profile and contact me again. I've asked him politely so stop contacting me then block him and again he's opened a new profile and contacted me.

It's now getting annoying. Any advice on what to do next apart from leaving?

Thanks

Obviously you can report him to Fab but if he keeps creating new profiles it makes it more difficult to track him. still worth doing as they should be able to work out his details when he sets these profiles up.

you could set age limits for messaging but he will probably work that out eventually and set up a profile age that is allowed to message you unless you get really strict on messages you receive. at the end of the day, why should you? he is the problem and needs to stop.

its crap really that you cannot stop this behaviour by him simply by being polite but he seems to be persistent. report his profiles, take screenshots of messages, especially if they contain any threats etc. as this could be dealt with by police if it gets out of hand.

stay safe x

Just keep blocking, its one click for you and a lot of work for him to set up another account.

Report as well. Not sure if the admins have the power to block via email or ip address of if they can be bothered.

If you set another account up he will find you again.

Just keep on blocking, dont even engage with him

It happened to me, when you next block him hide you profile straight away for a while until he’s disappeared or found a new target

It’s easy for me to say but he can just keep opening new profiles all you can do is ignore him. I hate creeps like that gives all us men bad names

Keep on blocking and reporting. Make a note of dates and profile names. I had a stalker on a platform similar to this and it started exactly the same. I wasn't diligent and laughed it off. He ended up creating profiles using my pictures and arranging dozens of meets. He found out where I live, my car reg, my (then) partners name, and where I worked. He sent pictures to my work so I then reported it to the police. The police told me to ignore while they investigated and ignoring seemed to upset him. I received 100s of very threating messages via the platform many quite deranged. It took the police ages to trace his IP address via the platform who weren't especially helpful. He was eventually charged and prosecuted and found guilty. Homophonic hate crime and misuse of telecoms of all things! To this day I have no idea who he is, thankfully. Be diligent and take it seriously.

Don't even bother blocking as that is providing feedback that you are responding to their action. Just ignore as best you can.

Thats sound advice, and the same as what the police said to me.

I kind of agree what some have said, just keep blocking as it’s more hassle to him to keep setting up new profiles but also like others have said, he knows he’s getting you to respond

Thankfully I haven’t been in this situation but if I was, maybe the best way is just to ignore him completely. If you get a message from a profile that’s only a day or two old, just leave the messages unread

Of course it’s still annoying but I’d bet he will be even more annoyed by knowing you’re not even reading his messages because they remain unread. My bet he will soon give up

Best of luck

Go into message filters and block newbies then he can’t contact you from a newly created account.

Yeah definitely i had a guy doing this and message me every day with a new profile.

Now I don't get messages from newbies, unless I've interacted with them first by either a wink or message.

Don't leave. Publicly name and shame, but definitely make sure everyone you know is aware. The rest is in a DM.

You can delete messages without reading them. They can tell they’ve been deleted without being read, too

The newbies setting is good, too.

There are a few on here who keep coming back to me with new profiles, I had never thought of them as stalkers tbh, just a bloody nuisance, but I suppose they are……I recognise them immediately and just ignore and/or block and then forget about it.

Nothing you can do unfortunately. I have dealt with similar on fab over the years. Block and wait for them to inevitably rejoin then block again.

“I haven’t read the thread. If I had I would see there are many things that can be done. I would learn there is a way that I could stop my own problem person who “inevitably” rejoins. But I haven’t read the thread. I’ll comment any fucking way.”

OP don't know if this has already been mentioned. On your message filter tab, you can block newbies.

So when they create a new profile they can't message you. I don't know how long they are classed as newbies. But the more hurdles you put in their way, the less rewarding the hassle for them.
