I have a lump in my left breast. Ive been to hospital and d a manogram and a biopsy. They say its cancer and will remove my breast. This terrifies me. has anyone else been through this please

Must be a very worrying time. Probably best to discuss with your surgeon and oncologist, hopefully you have also been put in touch with a breast care nurse. Though breast cancer in males is rarely discussed it is not uncommon.

I had a lump on my breast, thankfully the biopsy revealed it was a cyst, but was a very worrying time. The one thing that really struck me was how the whole breast cancer clinic is set up on a girly theme, it didnt put me off but could easily make some men feel uneasy. All the other patients there were women and bless em, they all made me feel more than welcome, having a laugh and a joke together in the waiting room. Hope all goes well for you mate, and remember, youre in safe hands with the nhs.
