Received a message today ,guy wants to meet up says he can accommodate turns out he wants to get an hotel room .well he obviously hasn't read my profile and I don't think hotel is quite what I expect when someone's profile says they can accommodate. Maybe I'm being picky, what do you guys think xx

If it’s convenient and he is paying for it then technically he can accommodate. I think I would prefer a hotel for a first meet as it is at least semi public and You know it will be clean. Rocking up to someone’s home is always a bit of a lottery the first time.

I guess 'accommodate' may not be necessarily strictly at his domicile. Or cannot do so on that particular date (my case, often) and is offering an alternative. T&C may apply 🏨🛏🛎

nothing really its just that not often but not always after a lengthy text conversation you ask for an address and then they say it's an hotel maybe both parties should establish that first ah well xx

I’m not keen when someone offers to book a hotel room just for a first time meet, it makes me feel somewhat pressured, because they have paid for the room, and I’d feel horribly guilty if we didn’t hit it off..

I don’t mind meeting guys in hotels if they are already booked in because they are visiting the area for some reason, or guys who I have met before.. or indeed if they have booked the hotel for a group session and invited me along as well as others..!!!

Maybe I’m overthinking, but I have explained this to several guys who have offered to book rooms, and declined the meet in each case..

Have to say I do understand and would find it a bit odd, but not necessarily a showstopper.

As above it's a bit different if its someone visiting area and therefore you understand from the offset.

As with anything, do whatever makes you feel comfortable and avoid what doesn't.

I get guys come to me because I don’t like dirty homes - and a lot are! Hotel meets are good! Clean sheets and clean room.

He may not be able to accommodate because of nosey neighbors, shared space etc. if he pays, he can accommodate 🤭

Accommodation for me is you can provide a place to meet. I accommodate others at my friends house or hotels, as long as we have somewhere private, clean and safe where we can fuck for hours then what’s the issue. Perhaps Fab can do some kind of verification from now on to make sure if people write can accommodate they have deeds to the house or at least named on mortgage.

You don't like it, then don't agree. Your loss. If in doubt suggest somewhere like a sauna for a first meet or coffee first to see if there is any chemistry

this is it though it actually says more or less that in my profile, I go to saunas and take it from there. Unfortunately people don't bother to read profiles hey ho xx

Hotel is preferable to an unknown home, but if it doesn’t suit you just decline x

Unless he lands you the bill for a 5* hotel room then he is accommodating. Better than those who say they can't accommodate and can't travel and expect you to do a double round trip of collecting them, taking them to your place and then back to their home afterwards

I don't mind hotels before I retired I worked all over the country and many a good time was had when staying in hotels. I suppose it's best to ask the obvious when someone says they can accommodate, ask where that would be ,before the twenty text saga starts xx

I would say that's disingenuous.

And I wouldn't do a hotel meet either.

I think it changes the dynamic of a meet when there's a cost involved.

I prefer a hotel meet, it's more better and you know it's going to be spotless
