somewhere around there

Around London better none.

For the last 30 odd years there was half inch of snow for a day few times and it was total panic every time.

Once there was snow for 3 days and the public transport shut down completely.

Any more than about 1/2 inch, and my home town virtually shuts down.

At least the schools won't have to close. They'll already be shut. Half an inch and whole country is under a weather warning.

Even at my age I adore snow and frequently watch clips on youtube of people taking videos while walking through a blizzard at night. It's so serene.

Sadly, snow in Cardiff has become a rarity but it is just like nature to surprise us with a huge snowfall when it's least expected. I live in hope.

"None hopefully "

The best response here, I detest the stuff, I remember those long hard snowy winters years ago, it's a total incumbrance, as those who came to grief in it would agree.

We still have roses blooming here (south east Ireland ) up to a week ago. But now leaves are down and we just had first heavy winter rain.

So I'm not sure but as I watch it streaming down here it looks like this might be a cold snap in a fairly mild winter??

So we will get killer frosts, but generally a wet mild winter?

Rawcliffe Bridge.

We hardly get any snow here, and if we do, it's usually gone after a few hours, and if it settles here, then the whole country has ground to a standstill, as usual with

three flakes of snow!
