I tried grindr but didn't find it user friendly. Seemed extremely restricted to who you can see but I confess I did not persevere because I do ok on fab and it's user friendly. I know grindr is very popular though.

The difference is you have to watch load of long ads every few mins. You get a message, you have to watch an ad. Like crazy amount of ads and they are so fucking annoying.

You also get spam messages from pornsites and bots. You can only see few people that are close. I honestly dont know how anyone uses grinder.

But you can say anything you want. Here this post will problay be removed because we talked about another app. Only fab guys exists here.

Fabguys is way better. Unless you pay, the adverts on Grindr will drive you to distraction and you can hardly use any of the features.

The user experience if horrible and they don't give a stuff because they've monopolised the market.

I think we're all looking for non-commercial hookup sites. Fab is great for that.

In the tv world tv chix follows a model of "this is how much it costs to host, please donate".

Both much better than companies that are only interested in money.

I'd really love to know who the owners of swingers and guys are and the reasons for their continued upkeep (I mean running costs [and are they expensive!!], not innovation).

Very hit and miss, but then isn't everywhere? Go to a sauna and its a quiet day, next time it's heaving, same as cruising grounds. Just depends who is online when and where.

Have had meets from both and they are just as good/bad as each other.

If chatting to a guy in G i always ask if they are on fab, mainly because we have more pics on here.

Amazing how many on G dont know about fab.

Frustrating thing with fab is that some people won't meet unless someone has been verified. But fab isn't the only place you can meet guys for fun, just because someone hasn't been verified doesnt mean they are not genuine.

On both Fab and Grindr. Used to subscribe to Grindr, but it's got expensive; free version, as many others have said, is full of annoying ads.

Fab is much better, more affordable and easier to arrange meets.

G is very very expensive and the free version is not worth the hassle and the intrusive ads. Better when travelling but even then if you are not available NOW as in right NOW it’s impossible to meet up.

With both those apps you need to go in with no expectations and know what you want and your boundaries. And look out for false advertising, ie people posting pictures or sharing pictures of themselves 15+ years younger than they really are.

FabGuys Is by far a better experience.
