Was looking for quiet beach in high season. Textile beach was mad packed... few miles further all quiet, people nicely spaced out of each other. Only thing was you had to be naked as it was naturist beach. I gave it a go... instantly fell in love feeling sun, warm wind breeze on my crotch area. Swimming naked even better feeling.

Then discovered you can also have some fun in the dunes. Win win!

I’ve always been interested in it and for me a part of it was people watching. I had a little flat in Sidcup and I would often hang the washing out naked or get something from the garden naked knowing that my neighbours could see. I started getting braver and braver. Whether they saw or not, I’ll never know but I had the thrill of doing it.

Naked or naked in front of others?

Always enjoyed being naked even in my teens in my room or whenever my parents out. Used to set myself little dares and very little you can do for those other than getting naked. One of the earliest was simply going out for a walk commando but with underwear in my pocket to some local wasteland, then have to put it on. Progressed from there to having to get fully naked against the clock... role a dice before i went out and that was number of minutes.

Biggest one was once put everything in a backpack and chucked it over the hedge in middle of a feild, then had to go around and get it, that was very open!

When i discovered these sites (straight back then) and started posting id get lots of comments and discovered i enjoyed the ones from guys too. One local guy offered to take pictures and thats where i really discovered i enjoyed being naked in front of others

Was interested in the nude as an artistic subject since my teens, when I started attending life drawing classes. So I suppose that must have been an influence

Other than that, I don’t remember any sudden moment of “discovering” it or whatever. I just don’t really see the point of clothes a lot of the time, lol.

I gradually drifted into attending nude yoga classes and nude swims, and it’s just a habit I’ve kept up since then. And of course, it’s just cool to meet people in the naturist “world”

Growing up, we'd stop off at beaches if we were going past. Would usually want to go in the water and so used to strip off.

Later on I'd drive to local nude beaches. Didn't think twice about stripping off and have chosen nude beaches ever since.

Theddlethorpe Beach, Lincolnshire. A few years ago a friend and me decided we needed to do some things to make life more interesting. She joked about going to a nudist beach and didn't realise there was one half an hour down the road. The challenge set we had no choice but to egg each other on untill we did it, then we went back every Tuesday for a couple of months. I'm quite often naked at home when im on my own. Not sure if it's because I enjoy, or I simply see no point in getting dressed when im the only one at home. I went to Studland in Dorset for a holiday with my husband a couple of years ago. When I was young there was a BBC documentary on TV called Lets Go Naked

Was 1979 and on mainstream TV

I was shocked watching it with my prude parents

But I thought it was strange and good at the same time

I was so shy as a teen in the showers etc

Ten years later I was a bit of a hippy, loved going barefoot etc and met a few people that in summer took their kit off at home and festivals camping etc

I joined in and never looked back

Skinny dipping while out hiking and camping. Tried nude beaches and found it's much more pleasant if you don't have to deal with wet sandy swimwear. Now find that I'm the most relaxed and comfortable while nude either at home or on a beach.

Just got used to being naked in school changing rooms and showers. A bit shy at first but loved looking at the other guys. Once I joined a rugby club all inhibitions went out of the window. I was walking the south coast from Dover to Brighton as a "young man" and put my tent up late one night on a beach near Hastings.

We are all naked at some stage. No one is born clothed. We get naked to shower or bath or to have sex in most cases. Suppose this thread is about getting naked in public.

Nudity was strictly taboo with my rather 'Victorian' family. So I found getting undressed a bit naughty and exciting. Never bothered me too much. Not so keen these days as a bit body conscious. Also we don't have the weather for it in this country.
