No, it’s the path to hell and damnation.

Father forgive me

I tried not to do it

Turned over a new leaf

then tore right through it

Whatever you taught me

I didn’t believe it

Father you fought me

‘cause I didn’t care

and I still don’t understand

That's what I thought this was going to be about. Was great show

I'm not religious so don't really care.

The bible says not to covet your neighbours wife it doesn't say anything about her husband.

Plus if it's a sin we can confess and it will be forgiven.

I’m a Christian, attend church, pray 😀 but never happier than when I have my tongue up a nice bum or a guy cumming in my mouth 😂 certainly not sinful 😀

All Catholic priests I spoke to told me it is a sin, a mortal sin and I am not allowed to receive any holy communion until I made a confession in the confessional booth, saying all my penance given and to stop having sex with men. So, I stopped going to Church. It only makes me very sexually promiscuous. To relieve my stress I let men play and tuck me.

I think the idea is that once you confess you don’t do it again. (And again and again…..)

"I like cock as much as the next man but is it a sin?"

It’s a very Tongue inbetween Cheeks question.

It’s not a sin if you enjoy it. It’s only a sin if some people don’t want you to enjoy it.

It made me worse. I do it more, again and again. Born gay and die gay. Love cocks, can't help it.

My Catholic Priest told me it wasn’t something I needed to disclose in the confessional, then went on to say acts of “love” between men wasn’t a sin . What counted was how I lived as a gay man.

No. It's not a sin. Only if you force unwanted attention on others.

Heaven?

I couldn't pluck a chicken let alone a harp.

Some priests have been known to have a different definition of "acts of love"

Work/Play in London, live in Kent

Depends on your philosophy. I used to be a deontologist. Kant said that there were right things to do and duties to uphold and wrong things to not do. It all seemed so simple when I was 18. I looked down on Bentham and Stewart-Mill with their utilitarianism and making everyone happy as being morally relative though in my 30’s I saw their point. I scoffed at the ethical egoists who just were narcissists who only cared about themselves.

No I am 50. As a gay man in my 50s I gravitate toward ethical egoism because, after decades of navigating a world that often marginalised my identity and may with LGBTQ+ identities, I have learned to prioritise self‑preservation and authentic self‑interest. Acting in my own best interest feels morally right and I reject needing society to approve of me. By focusing on what truly benefits me and my relationships I assert agency over my life that previously was shaped by external controls.

In short, ethical egoism offers a framework where looking after number one isn’t selfish in a negative sense, but a necessary act of self‑respect after years of having to compromise.

Sin and duty and tradition are all ways society tried to control each of us. Whether it was Kant saying you must do this, or a utilitarian saying more people will benefit by your doing this or popes saying God tells you to do those things, it is all someone trying to control you.

The only sin really is not letting people be people with the people they enjoy being with.
