The bigger issue is if they then go on to specify a different age range in the text of their profile - totally buggers up using filters in searches and the “I’m in their age range” tickbox.

I've got the full default range set. Reality so far is 29-85. Would happily expand that range at either end.

Its annoying when you see someone you like the look of and their age range stops a year below your age. You then can't message them as you don't fit their desired profile.
