"Been a sufferer since my late teens and can be a major problem when it comes to meeting. It’s tends to be people’s attitude towards it. It’s not contagious, but I’ll admit it’s sometimes not a nice thing to see especially when it flares up." yeah that sums it up really.

"Yes i get it on my shins really itchy worst when i put the heating on and after a shower, best thing for me is aloe vera gel and e45" After washing my hair I wash my body in gradually cooler water - maybe lukewarm at the start before using my Dermol 500 to wash with, then actually cold to rinse off with. I find that helps with the itching. As does the Dermol 500 as it's anti-pruritic (anti-itch). The absolute worst though is getting warm and hot when in bed asleep, and half-asleep, and you don't know what you're doing, and you get itchy, and you scratch - I've woken up to find I've scratched myself sore or to the point of bleeding when I've had a bad flare-up.

"From China but easily obtained on the Internet, yiganerjing. Small tubes so order more than a couple. I found it amazing, cleared things up and have recommended it to a lot of people over the years. " It's great for other skin complaints; a friend said it cleared the excema of a friend of hers.

"Yes i get it on my shins really itchy worst when i put the heating on and after a shower, best thing for me is aloe vera gel and e45" I find a shower tends to make it flaky and itchy, for me soaking in the bath is far better. The longer the soak the better, just lightly run over it with a pumice stone and the dead skin builds up just comes away with little to no effort, and no itching afterwards.
