Alsager

Thought it would be a good idea for men, ladies, retired or younger, to shop and meet at a local supermarket on set days.

I’m in the Alsager area, Cheshire, so ASDA/Sainsburys on a Thursday morning/afternoon would be good.

Any thoughts on this or suggestions?

For it to work everyone's would have to post face pics. But how do you know someone you or they know isn't in the same shop . I often get told someone has seen me in town , shops, pub etc. I would never go upto someone in a shop etc they could just be doing there shopping with family.

If you can start a conversation, it’s a chance to meet someone, I know a little bit risky. At least if someone says they have seen you on FB’s your part way there. The idea is to go to a particular supermarket at a set time to increase your chances of meeting someone. I know it could be a little difficult but who knows?

How are you going to contact ladies, given that there aren't any on here?

Why don't you just fire off a few messages to local guys who look compatible, rather than trying to arrange a group meet, which is notoriously difficult to arrange?

OK let’s start the ball rolling.

I’ll be at Alsager Sainsbury's this coming Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00, wearing a blue fleece with a metal poppy attached to the zip. Just say hi and see were it takes us.

Anyone else wants to post a shopping type meet, go on give it a try.
