World Cup - Pride match

You could not make it up. For next years world cup, FIFA designated a match in Seattle as a pride match as it coincides with Seattle pride.

Teams drawn to play that match Iran v Egypt. Homosexuality is illegal in both places, punishable by death.

Don't think that is going to go down well!!!

Homosexuality potentially incurs a death sentence in Iran, depending on the actual act.

Homosexuality won't get you executed in Egypt, but you might get hassled by the police, beaten up and/or possibly imprisoned for indecency or being immoral.

Both places are best avoided if you're openly gay.
