It depends on what you are looking for really - Foxy in Bilston is closer to you but if you are going to drive an hour it might be worth driving 2 hours to Empire in Huddersfield, in my opinion Empire is so much better than Foxy.

There isn’t really a Porn cinema scene anymore. The younger generation have no idea what this whole thing was about as they have porn on tap. Strict obscenity laws kept hard core porn out of reach except via these very seedy outlets that shaped my urges and sexuality.

Totally agree, gone are the days of going to a seedy adult cinema sitting in the seat and being gropped by guys on either side of you, front and behind you. I loved it in my younger days going into Soho visiting some of the cinemas in Berwick Street Market and leaving empty with a smile on my face.

Even Amsterdam is starting to clean up its act these days, so sad to see the B1 Cinema closed, three floors of gay and straight cinemas and the dark maze on the top floor. Always plenty going on ....
