If they don't have verifications. That can sometimes indicate they're not for real. Always insist on where you want to meet. That can put off wankers.

No verifications or only from years ago is a strong one.

If they to the “on my way” but don’t turn up they are blocked. They can be difficult to spot first time around. Sometimes it’s good to arrange two people to come over incase one doesn’t turn up.

Because I'm one of those weird twats who like to have something like engagement and friendly conversation before considering any kind of meet (usually an absolute minimum half dozen messages to establish availability, preferences etc) I find timewasters pretty easy to spot. If they don't have the attention span to hold a conversation I wouldn't expect them to put the effort into actually showing up.

Exactly this. I even said to a guy a little while ago that I only needed the road name or postcode. I said that I would message him when I was close and he could see on here that I was “4 minute walk away” or “within touching distance”. Only then give me the house number. We had a good meeting.

In the past, I've been messed about by people with a paid membership, photos and veris and also had great meets with guys with no pics and no veris.

Just to buck the trend.

Yes there are guys who only want an online experience, you can suss that out.

Theres also guys who just aren't that into you...

The main tip from me is to be realistic about the interactions and not read more into them than are actually there because of you know, the horn.
