Staple Hill, Bristol

Who else will be spending time over Christmas home alone?

If anyone is home alone, who would like a visit or company for a few hours?

I won’t be alone at Christmas but definitely have time to have a chat with anybody that is who might want a bit of company etc.

Totally serious. No-one should feel alone at Christmas unless they want to be

In reality its just another day. Hate it when people ask 'What are you doing for Christmas?' or say 'You shouldn't be alone at Christmas. I's so sad that you are'. Not really much different to being alone on say February the 9th or July 17th. Take it in your stride. Celebrate it your own way. Would be nice to have some company e.g. a good looking fellow with a hard cock. Chances are they will be busy doing the family Christmas thing. I plan to have a relaxing day and probably cook myself a nice meal.

If you don’t want to be on your own some towns and villages have a Christmas dinner for people who will be alone. You can go as a guest or offer to help. If you’re happy chatting to old folks you might enjoy it. Otherwise line up the treats and enjoy the day.

You don’t have to be suicidal to phone the Samaritans - 116 123 - they have extra volunteers on duty on Christmas Day and are happy to listen. They get lots of weirdos on the phone, so someone who just wants to hear another human voice will make a nice change.

I might be not sure if I don’t go to my friends house. I’ve done it before and really enjoyed it. Cooked a lovely dinner and chilled out. No noise neighbour upstairs. It was bliss.

I spent last Christmas alone (me and the dog) …. My marriage was falling (fallen) apart. (I wasn’t invited to the family dinner we had gone to , for year).

It wasn’t that bad. I still made a nice dinner and walked the dog. Arguably better than the in-laws. Haha

Better to be alone and do what you want rather than have lots of family round eating your food , drinking your drink , talking rubbish and cluttering the place up . And bringing their cheap tat wrapped up in Christmas paper not to mention their bloody kids .

Celebrate being on your own!!!

I'll be on my own most of the time, apart from going to church and seeing a couple of friends over the holidays. I prefer it that way as I have always lived alone and am not bored with my own company and enjoy my own space.

It does seem sad, that a person who is on their own at Christmas (for whatever reason) is looked down upon by certain sectors.

Yet listen to general conversations...and the much flaunted "family christmas" is merely tolerated by many people

Too expensive, non stop driving, too much food, shit presents, hateful relatives...and worst of all BAD TV

It's shocking that so many end up experiencing a day like that alone. Hats off to to all the charities that try their best to help accom who they can but time for higher up the chain to get finger out and release more funds for things like this.

I'll be alone over xmas, just like I have been for the last 25 of them. No stress, no arguments, no fixed timetable for anything, no presents, no cards... just perfect really. Just because someone is alone, it doesn't mean they're lonely. I love my own company and it's tine people stopped taking pity on folk just because they're alone.

My lodger working Xmas day, so I'm taking a couple of friends to the pub, so they have some company on Xmas day. Then drop them home, and home to make Xmas meal for myself and lodger.

It's not nice being alone at Xmas, so if you know anyone who is, maybe pop in and spend a bit of time with them.

Between C Wharf & Stratford

Very happy to be on my own on Christmas Day

There's far too much social and commercial pressure to be with people for the 'perfect day, perfect roast potatoes, perfect....' you get my drift?

I have worked in healthcare for over 40 years and Christmas can be a very difficult time for some people, especially after a bereavement.

I am quite a resilient person & enjoy my own company, so this year will be like recent others, on my own. Perhaps a walk or bike ride in the morning, maybe coffee with a neighbour, then sending some good wishes by email / WhatsApp / Fabguys

Then open a nice bottle and cook a simple supper, what's not to like?

I am lucky, I go to friends every Christmas day.

But, I will be on my own, for a few days/nights, at New Year.

I would welcome one, or maybe 2 younger guys

I can provide food & drinks, or, can also be drink free, if you do not drink.

Obviously, I would enjoy the company, but would also expect things to happen, also.

Like all stripping off, & see where taht leads us.

No time wasters please.

I am genuine.

I do normally go really early though.
