Thankfully, it's been five years since and it has all grown back" My late wife didn't loose any hair from her head just her body hair and had two treatments of chemotherapy which helped to give her a few more years. | |||

But only some chemotherapy drugs cause hair loss or slight hair thinning.” I was on a low dose chemo drug called “Methotrexate” for something else for a couple of years, and no my hair didn’t fall out, it just didn’t grow as quickly. Also in case you hadn’t noticed, male pattern baldness seems to run in the family (at least for the men). Respect to King Charles, and I’d sooner have him as head of state than the Tangerine Twat over the pond. | |||

I didn’t go running about telling all and sundry. I told family and very close friends only. It was a private thing that I needed to concentrate on and didn’t want nosey people pitying me and not much more. I only told my wife and kids the exact cancer I had, no one else needed to know. I was off work and basically went missing for almost a year whilst I recovered from it. Oh and in reply to another post, I retained all my hair also. Hair loss depends on which type of chemotherapy you receive, although radiotherapy can cause some small hair loss that is almost unnoticeable and fairly easy to cover up. I’m assuming from your vitriol towards these people that you must have had cancer yourself and suffered badly, for which I feel very sorry for you. I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. However it’s not their fault, so please don’t take it out on them. | |||
