It seems there are so many messaging platforms, for example WhatsApp

But then many guys on here choose alternative like Kik or telegram, and I’m sure there’s many other others

Are they very different and what makes one better than the others? I’m really interested but haven’t got a clue. I thought they were all pretty well identical.

I imagine it's because you don't have to exchange phone numbers, stopping any chance of cross wires. Also I guess for a lot of people they'd rather keep sex and social life apart.

Using an app you don't use for work or social life is the best way of keeping safe and secure. Especially if you're not out or your partner doesnt know what you get up to.

I keep my 'fun' apps in a secure folder with a different password. My wife never looks on my phone but its just another level of security.

I made the mistake of using WhatsApp for my sex and kink life, even though I knew my work colleagues used it a lot.

Sure enough, one day my then boss looks up my phone number on it (just idle curiosity I think or maybe suggested by the app) and guess what he sees? Yep, my lovely profile pic, black stockings, bra and thong and smooth peachy arse

Cue a very sharp exit from the office and a super fast avatar rethink!
