Medical cannabis prescriptions

Near you

Over 70,000 people in the UK are now prescribed it legally. Does anyone here have a prescription? Any thoughts on it?

I don't think it's cheap. Germany allows adults to grow their own cannabis at home for personal use, permitting up to three plants per person, following the introduction of the Cannabis Act in 2024, which legalized recreational cannabis with limits on possession and cultivation.

Adults can also join non-profit cannabis social clubs for shared cultivation and purchase. It's about time we decriminalised it over here as well.

A company came up on my Facebook newsfeed, its a medical cannabis company in the uk , you have to pay for a consultation and they decide if you can get a licence, it looks very easy to get licence as the list of conditions is quite big. I compared the prices of their to what people would pay on the streets and it was double. I doubt many people would bother when they can already get it a lot cheaper, as long as people are sensible smoking it and discreet nobody is going to come knocking.

There's alot of medical cannabis companies operating in the UK now.

some better than others and differing pricing. If you're planning on getting a medical cannabis prescription shop around there's a good UK medical cannabis thread on reddit.

Well I've got a prescription. All I had to do was pay the clinic £50 for my assessment, which I'd have got back if I hadn't been approved.

I was approved. Now it's dispensed by a pharmacy and delivered by royal mail. Prices vary but you can get decent stuff for around £40 for 10 gram, which isn't too bad.

That's quite a decent price. Is it full spectrum herbal, and if so how do you consume it? Also, how long does 10g last you?

You have to consume any flower prescribed in a dry herb vaporiser, smoking it is still considered illegal. Prices vary depending on thc content, growhouse and strains

I'm prescribed 60g a month. It's just the same as any . Just grown to better standards and more selection. And while you are legally supposed to vape it and smoking is technically illegal, the police won't arrest you if you show them your prescription.
