just had a google and Irish people have loads of versions of hug,Irish words for hug include barróg, fáscadh, croí isteach, greim fáiscthe, barróg a thabhairt dá chéile, barróg a bhreith ar a chéile, do dhá lámh a chur thart ar a chéile, croí isteach a dhéanamh le chéile, barróg a thabhairt do and barróg a bhreith!
