I've studied this long and hard and concluded that if there is no reduction in width from buttocks to waist, thongs are probably a bad idea. It's the way they emphasise that flare from waist to arse cheeks that makes them erotic.

Which makes me wearing them a somewhat marginal case as my waist isn't what I'd like it to be!
