I don’t think it works in Australia. Make sure your details are updated in the Account section, also your profile page still states UK. When you use the search function make sure you click for Australia 🇦🇺 hopefully that will get you on your way xx

I’ve tried all that.i reverted back to the uk. It’s Just hasn’t changed over. Thanks for the tips

I have changed my location now back to Melbourne, and it’s on my profile page but the near me feature still isnt showing up.

When you're overseas it doesn't really matter what location you put on your profile... what's key is using the mobile site (as opposed to desktop) and switching on "Who's near", this uses your phone's GPS location rather than any settings you've specified on the site.

On the phone version of the website, click "Home" and then near the top there's a black banner with ""Who's near - OFF". Click on that, and change it to "Who's near - ON". Your phone will likely prompt you with a popup asking you to allow Fabguys to access your location, obviously allow it.

You may need to log out and in again for it to refresh, it can also sometimes be less than instantaneous but it will catch up at some point.

Fab has always worked for me abroad but as it is mainly used in UK and Ireland the near me function is picking up users from UK / Ireland who are also for example travelling in Italy but are 100+ miles away.

'Romeo' has always been way more successful for me when travelling for work etc in continental Europe
