Even after being vaccinated in early Autumn, it has been over 2 weeks so far. I have underlying health conditions but I recon another week & I will be fighting-fit again

As usual with me, the initial cold was quite mild, lasted a day or so, and I was able to carry on my daily business as normal.

Fast forward two weeks and my chest, nose and sinuses are still heavily congested with thick, yellow catarrh. I've taken paracetamol, decongestant (pseudoephedrine) and bronchial cough mixture containing an expectorant, but the road to recovery is a long one.

Feeling a little better. The anti bios helping but it's only third day though. Odd the Nurse asked me to choose between Amoxicillin or Doxycycline, so I knew I'm ok with Amoxicillin as I've had it before but once on Doxy last year gave me mild side effects. Both make me feel weary. Wheezing continues so don't know how long that will last. Strained muscle in lower abdomen from so much hacking up yesterday, but chest muscles from coughing has calmed down.

You're experiences are very interesting to me
