"I saw it with the original cast in Kings Road way back in the 70's" Really?! Oh my word, how fantastic. Would have loved to have seen it.

"The stage show is coming to my town. Can't wait! Needless to say, I have booked a ticket and going with a friend whom i used to go to screen viewings with at the Corn Exchange, back in the day, and all the audience participation. Was brilliant and such good fun. I'm just wondering how many going to see it nowadays (apart from us from that era) will actually realise there is an audience participation element, and all the call backs in synch with the story line, and know what they are? Anyone else seen it in their neck of the woods in recent times?, and what was your experience of it? Obviously we can't go throwing rice and squirting water and holding naked flames in a theater for a stage show, but the call back bits were a big part of the fun. However, i'm also wondering how some of them would be received in today's politically correct world? We went last year when Jason Donavon was frank... believe me you will be suprised how many go dressed up and do the aidience participstion including younger age brackets Suprised me but also made it most enjoyable night in fact we were baught tickets to go again this year when it comes back to the same city..

"I went years ago. My friend had booked tickets in the stalls under the circle. He said “you’ll see why” As Frank said “a toast!” Pieces of toast rained down and the cast ran to the back of the stage. " 😂 Brilliant. I'm not sure if they are going to allow us to do that side of the participation because it's at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich and it's recently been refurbished. I hope the verbal participation will be good though and enough in the theatre doing it. *Betty throws the bouquet * "Hey Janet, have you got syph?"....Janet- "I got it, i got it!"

"Have seen the film lots of times. Love audience participation cd. Sadly never seen the stage show. Not sure if it’s coming to York. " I'm the same, this is the first time i will be seeing the stage show. Back in the day it was at The Corn Exchange and on screen. Luckily the large hall had vinyl tiles. The place was a mess afterwards, and the floor a death trap with all the water, rice, toast, toilet paper and news papers. I bet the clean up staff must have cursed us lot

"It's great fun, went in Brighton about 12/13 yrs ago" I can't think of a more perfect place to see it, with Brighton's large gay community. Must have been brilliant.
