Many reasons I would imagine like every day pressures of life plus the menopause plays a big part and that’s understandable and often the knowledge that they have now produced the family that they want and therefore sees no further need for sex beings it’s for procreation or leisure…

Just my thoughts of course and other views may well challenge that notion.

It’s not the fact that they go off sex, it’s the expectation they have that their other half won’t mind or need sex either.

Mine hasn’t gone off sex totally, it’s just a lot less, even though my sex drive hasn’t hardly changed.

I basically had to force a conversation on the matter with her. We spoke about if she didn’t want sex so much or just didn’t want sex with me, how I could help, and what we could do for me as she went off it more and more.

It was a difficult conversation to initiate because I wasn’t sure I’d like the answers, but in the long run it helped because it took a lot of pressure off us both.
