Age Restriction, Sick of it

Yesterday, once again for the third time on my mobile phone when away from home and unable to access "Home internet" and have to use "mobile data", I can no longer browse the forum or Fab Swingers as its deemed that I am under 18.

It says on the screen its a Google restriction, but when I go round and round in circles, I finally find the setting and it Age Restriction is turned off, so it is not that.

It also says its my Service Provider, but once again, age Restriction is turned off, but everything points at it being the service provider, otherwise it would not work in house if it was Google.

The last time this happened about 2 years ago it lasted for almost a month and I could not resolve it, and then all of a sudden, it started working again!!!!

I think they just like to fuck you about

If the problem is when using mobile data then is is most likely the age limit imposed by the mobile provider. You either need to go through their age verification process to have the restriction removed on your phone number, or USA a VPN when on mobile data to bypass their restrictions. There are some good free VPN’s available.

Problem resolved, when it O2 shop, as I suspected, they had put an age restriction on my account.

Evidently it has happened to a lot of people just lately and I was many they have had to reset their accounts.

Evidently you only have to prove your age once, evidently not, this is now the 3rd time I have had to get O2 to reset my account.

You can contact your ISP, and ask them to lift parental controls. They play the better safe than sorry thing. I did this just a couple of weeks ago

I have done, sadly O2 will not let me do it online, it has to be a visit to the shop.

The instructions online tell you how to do it, but, the "Drop down" menu's do not exist for me.

But, you can call them, its an automated response from them, and do a reset, but, if you do not have a credit card, like I don't, then it becomes a trek to the shop to show them a passport or driving licence etc like I did about 20 years ago, but they still reset your account like they have done to me.....again for the 3rd time.

A few years ago I was away from home with no radio, television etc access. Tried to look up the Rugby results on my mobile phone only to be told it was 'adult content'! How ridiculous is that?
