For most STDs sucking cock has the same risk as getting fucked raw. Regular testing is key. You can either visit an std clinic or get test kits posted to you at home. Oral is pretty safe for HIV unless you have bleeding gums/sores but the best protection tion there is to take prep. Getting fucked raw while on prep is safer for HIV than relying on condoms. For everything else you can get it via oral anyway. Many guys on here don’t understand that.

Ultimately it’s your body and only you know what risks you are comfortable with.

There is a small risk of STDs like gonorrhea being transferred to your throat, but you need to educate yourself on risks and how they are transferred and make a judgement call.

I would also say there are now various vaccines you can have, so would definitely look into getting those too.

I've been sucking dick since I was 17. Turn 50 next year.

Had gonorhea in throat about 5yrs ago and the only STI I've ever had. My FwB was mortified he had to tell me, but he was tested regularly and so am I. I do the free NHS home kits.

Had MenB jab last Sept with Pt2 booked for March.

Some really bad advice above. Oral is fairly safe for hiv but not for syphilis gonorrhoea chlamydia etc. that’s why regular testing is so important as well as prep to protect against hiv
