If you could alter your own or photos of others on here using grok, would you?

No it’s catfishing but there’s quite a few on here that use it

Apparently it turns a picture into a 6 second video too x

Ok, just thinking about this and the whole editing pictures thing.

My observation would be:

1. it is wrong to use it to doctor your own image to misrepresent your appearance to others.

2. It shouldn’t be a problem if you are removing someone else (say in the background) in order to be able to upload the unaltered image of yourself to comply with the rules and prevent rejection by the mods.

What do you think?

Absolutely not. I find the whole thing very creepy and un-nerving. And all this AI. Apparently you can take a face pic off social media and put that person into a porn scene that is quite convincing? I was reading about a mother whose daughter had this done to her. She said that if it wasn't for the fact she knew what her daughter's body looked like, she would have thought it was real. I don't do social media nowaday. Just glad i'm the age I am because it scares me what tge future holds for younger people. Strange world we live in.

It's worrying if they are altering photos of children. AI is dangerous in the wrong hands.

Technology Secretary Liz Kendall: “What we have been seeing online in recent days has been absolutely appalling, and unacceptable in decent society."

So, why IS it accepted? 🤔

You see so many people using face tune these days. Even people I know in real life. You wonder if they went missing, no one would find them as they look nothing like their pics.

Seen a lot of face tune on here.

Absolutely. It's a downward spiral. As said, just glad i am the age I am. I really do fear for the more younger generations. They unfortunately have nothing to compare with. I'm just glad I grew up in an era devoid of the Internet, social media and mobile phones.

No, certainly not. Quite apart from anything else it entangles the user with the bastard Musk. And what would be the point? I'm perfectly happy putting up real pics, and if I'm imperfect, fine. Most people are.

When it comes to digitally altering or manipulating innocent images to make them sexual, the problem lies with the user, not the tool.

It's already an offence to take/make an indecent photograph of a child.

Unfortunately, the genie's out of the bottle. And AI is being used intentionally to mislead people; everywhere, not just pictures. Academic papers, adverts, reviews, rewritten news, opinion...you name it. The problem is very definitely with the tool.

Unfortunately on some sites (fet for example) AI adulterated images are becoming the norm. It’s really rather boring and a race to the bottom.

The truth is a very important thing, without it we/others will begin to rewrite our own histories and therefore our destinies. I think it's wrong to allow AI to change the truth in any way, facts or images

You also need to read the fine print on AI learning, pretty much anything you use on an AI website will be used forever more by that AI tool so don’t uploaded anything you don’t want to be in the public domain.

We used to look at something and think it was real, to be proved fake.

Now we look at something thinking it's fake, to be proved real.

Ah, the attractive blonde women in her 30's? Profile says it's a 55 year old (if that's also true) bloke.

Their other video and pictures all seem to be AI as well, someone should report them .

Nope, pics are all me whether you like them or not.

Not looking to mislead any potential meet and would be pissed if a top didn't look like his pics. You get enough of that with guys with very old pics.

Like the old saying goes

If it looks to good to be true it probably is

The AI images are also rife on fabswingers

Nothing wrong with a short video chat with someone to verify who they are

Completely pointless in my opinion, people should be able to see exactly what a person looks like before a meeting, not an enhanced version.

I’ve reported a few and they have all been deleted and profiles removed by administrators (eventually)

Just to make it crystal clear before I say this that I’m a big fan of the t girls on here but it does seem to be mostly them doing it.

Photoshopping the odd wrinkle out is one thing but completely changing your image with AI is taking it too far,,
