Me too. I'm frustrated with the current weather. I'm not a fairweather rider, but sensible. I don't fancy the thought of skidding on an ice patch and being crushed by a Triumph Bonneville. Roll on better weather!

I've got textile motorbike wear, but i'm just old fashioned. Definitely leather for me.

I like the black leather look.

I gave up riding a few years after a big crash. The cold weather made the metal in me hurt. Also in London it felt like everyone was just trying to end you.

Still fit in the gear but it feels like dress up when you don’t have a bike

On a serious note, on the above topic, I recall a harrowing incident on a perfect summer's day about 10 years ago when a motorcycle with a pillion passenger passed me on a dual-carriageway. About a mile or so later, they hit loose gravel on a sharp bend, on a junction and skidded, and both riders were thrown off. I stopped to help and the contrast was stark. The rider wore proper leathers and, despite being shaken, suffered minimal injury – his gear took the brunt. His passenger, wearing denims, was much less fortunate he was severely grazed with exposed bone, a terrible bloody state, in excruciating pain and in total shock.

The incident highlighted the crucial importance of wearing protective gear – leathers and helmets – for motorcyclists.

I waited for emergency services and later checked on their condition, though updates were unavailable at the time. I've often wondered how they fared; they were heading from the Midlands to the North Wales coast on a day trip.

Been riding for 50+ years and ride all year round, Leather or Fabric jacket depending on weather and journey, lined denim jeans unless its torrential rain or freezing.

Have done the commuting in and around London (pre M25) but these days its only for enjoyment (retirement is fun)

I used to ride a Kawasaki Concours 1000cc - beautiful, if very heavy, bike. I loved my leathers when riding. Helps that I was riding the Rocky Mountains when I lived in North America!

Sitting on my bike in the garage in tight leather jeans, high heel boots & my leather jacket, well, I produced a lot of cum!

I miss it now, still have my LOVE of leathers & everytime I wear some, I get transported straight back!

I used to ride bikes when I was younger and fitter (400cc low rider Kawasaki), however, when a saw a film about a mens paraplegic basket ball team in wheel chairs... it sort of took the shine off bike riding!
