Tamsulosin/Finasteride ??

Given Tamsulosin and not had any real problem with masturbation etc but was given Finasteride to start next week.

I was wondering if any one of the two affects libido more than the other of you guys that might be on it? Interested in your experiences, not advice.

I have tamsalosin for an enlarged prostate, been taking it for three yrs now with no effect on my sex life either with men or my wife, my brother however had to come off it as it was giving him heart palpitations, maybe the fact that I've already got a pacemaker negates thst problem?

I was given these before I was diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer.

They can affect you when you ejaculate and even dry orgasms.

This was my experience and not saying they will do the same to everyone.

Retired pharmacist here. They work in different ways. Tamsulosin is a smooth muscle relaxant and do won’t affect your libido. Finasteride will shrink your prostate do will reduce your libido.

Finasteride isn't that for baldness sure it is , I know guys are taking it for to grow boobs .

And receeding hair .

But also heard guys where growing boobs with it don't know how true .

But they reckon it does stop things down below hence why get man boobs .

Don't know how true this is as I'm not a doctor..

I have been on Tamsulosin for years with no real noticeable adverse effects initially, it was only when Finasteride was added years later that I noticed reduction in ejaculation, usually just a dry orgasm. Really disappointing and will always warn a partner that they won’t get a load. Just lately though I have been producing a little more but this may be due to more frequent wanking, who knows!! I just miss a really good cum.

Would leaving off the tablets for a few days increase ejaculation and would it do any harm??

To be honest ask your doctor I've heard a lot about these tablets.

I was going to use them myself.??

Been on Tamsulosin for over 15 years (for an enlarged prostate) and was also prescribed Finasteride about 6 years ago to be taken together. The effects on me are that I do have small man boobs, definitely reduced libido and whilst I do still cum it is no longer a milky white but absolutely clear. The quantity of ejaculate is still the same as before

Was on finasteride, came off it early. Horrible drug, my libido crashed, and felt like shit too
