"There is no will , but he wants the house . " When there is no Last Will and Testament the Rules of Intestacy apply, if there's no spouse, the estate will be divided equally between the children. They'll inherit everything. In the case of a strained relationship between siblings it may be worth engaging a solicitor to ensure everything runs fairly and smoothly, especially if there are any complications with the estate, such as property being involved which is a bit of a legal minefield these days. | |||
