No. Not for a few Fabs here and there. There’s no obligation to Fab anyone - that’s a choice - it doesn’t necessarily indicate you are interested in the profile more than appreciating that photo - etc etc.

If someone sends me a little deluge of Fabs I usually send a note saying thanks for the appreciation, no matter what I think of the profile in question.

If I see pictures I really like, I will often send a message to that effect. Sometimes you get a nice acknowledgment back. Sometimes it surprises me that more men can’t send an easy thank you which doesn’t have to commit them to anything. You learn that some very fine-looking men are actually timid or have zero politesse.

If someone Fabs a picture that I find attractive or interesting and I don’t otherwise know them, acknowledging that and perhaps messaging my appreciation of their pictures is a useful vehicle to start interaction.

Not necessarily, but is always appreciated. On the other hand sometimes one sees a lovely profile and tries to fab but there’s some form of a block. Pity, because fabbing to me doesn’t mean I want to be in your breeches, it’s genuine appreciation! But hey ho, respect if that’s their choice!

I don't think there's an expectation or that generally offence is taken for lack of acknowledgement. I usually fab back one or some of their pics, if any are public. If they aren't public, I leave it at that. There's been a very rare occasion when a generous fellow Fabber has fabbed all or nearly all of my public gallery (a severe case of 'you should have gone to Specsavers!') but I can't reciprocate because they have none. Then I've just sent a brief note or even a simple

But if a guy "Fabs" many pics I'll send a message thanking him. Regardless whether I like his profile or not.
