"This is my biggest worry My doctor told me recently I had an "enlarged prostate" which apparntly is quite common for my age (52) As a bottom its been over 20 years since my last experience - Will it hurt? So an enlarged prostate can mostly indicate a drop in testosterone, you should discuss testosterone replacement treatment, NHS won’t fund it, you will have to go private , it’s basically a hormone replacement. Thx in advance M "

Thx in advance M " I have had BPH for a number of years and have been taking Finasteride. Curtsey of a search engine for what is does. It blocks the action of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which normally converts testosterone into a more potent hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the primary hormone responsible for the growth and enlargement of prostate cells. By lowering DHT levels in the prostate, finasteride causes the gland to shrink. So its not more Testosterone that you require. But just ask your doctor.

" Yep...floored my libido completely, hence not been on here much, along with dizzy bouts and muscle aches n cold..Tammy, on a personal front, is a bitch I have to be aware of as my job is faily high risk, so the coziness is fekkin inconvenient. But certainly my libido is gone..tis what it is.
