"How Trump Lost America's Allies Forever" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrRbvSw3Vhg" Sorry but that video AI generated... Took me a minute to twig, but upon reading the video description it says it's not really Robert, and that it's fan made content. Likely using synthetic/artificial tools to create it. As much as I agree with the overall sentiment of the video, It's both shocking and sad to see how easily these videos can be taken as real...

But I have to say I agree with some of the things he's doing like Venezuela, the drugs coming out of that country and others around it are killing thousands of Americans. As for Greenland, given the choice between Russia, China or the USA controlling the territory, for our sake it better be the USA. He is actually offering to buy Greenland just like the USA bought Alaska from Russia s it's not new." You cannot be this naive, this is a joke right? You agree with him about the stuff concerning venuzeula, even though practically all the drugs flowing into America are from Mexico. Not to mention Trump and his administration have stated since taking over it's about oil, not drugs. In terms of Greenland, what evidence is there that China or Russia are even interested in Greenland? Spoiiler - there is none. And he can offer to buy it all he wants, but the fact of the matter is that the US is currently 40 TRILLION in debt - which is expected considering it's being run by someone who has bankrupted every company he's ever founded. I get some people on here say this sort of stuff to get a rise out of people, but honestly, if you're that lonely, go volunteer somewhere.

Mexico, Colombia, China (synthetic opioids) are far bigger players. The military assault was about oil and profit. With regards to Greenland, they, Denmark and the rest of NATO would welcome more American bases and other military installments there. They don't need to own the land to that, it's about the vast mineral resources they could mine.

"he called the oil companies before he called Congress after he invaded Venezuela...how's that for a giant fuck you....hahaha " More to the point - he DIDN'T call the oil companies UNTIL after he invaded Venezuela. This business genius just thought drilling holes and watching oil - black liquid gold - gush out was all there was to it. This President with the most bigliest IQ ever thought to himself "How hard can it be? They'll make $$$billions, and I'll get a fat cut from it." So he assembled a meeting of major oil bosses. The object of the meeting was for him to invite them to slobber in admiration over his brilliant strategy, and thank him for his generosity. It didn't work out that way, to put it mildly. Darren Woods, CEO of Exxon, used the word "uninvestable". He pointed out that they'd already had their assets in Venezuela sei_ed twice, and they weren't about to do it again without serious restructuring in the contractual and financial system. After a little slobbering in an attempt to stroke Trump's ego, a few others concurred. Trump's response was to say after the meeting that he didn't like Exxon's response and he wasn't sure he would let them in on the deals. The latest news is that they're saying they'll let the smaller companies in on it - ie the ones who they hope don't know any better. And Trump probably isn't done with Darren woods, either. Two more basic problems. First, the drilling infrastructure in Venezuela is clapped out by decades of neglect, requiring huge capital investment. Second, Venezuelan oil does not "gush". It has the consistency of tar, and has to be brought up by injecting high pressure steam to liquify it and pump it out. This means that even if oil companies have cast-iron guarantees of financial protection, they can only extract the oil at a price substantially higher than the current market price. But Trump doesn't care about that. He thinks he can make them produce at a loss, and write it off like a campaign contribution, as long as he gets what he regards as HIS money. Interesting article from Paul Krugman today. "Big Business Should End Its Faustian Bargain With Trump" "Corporate America needs to realize that they too must make Faustian bargains if they want to stay on Trump’s good side – and that the price of those bargains will be very high. Campaign contributions won’t be enough: they must pour money into Trump’s ballroom, and/or his family’s pocket, and/or his crazy adventures in places like Venezuela or Gaza. Refraining from criticism of Trump’s policies won’t be enough. Instead they must become sycophants, enthusiastically supporting Trump’s policies — especially if those policies are deeply stupid. If they don’t go along the punishment will be personal as well as financial. Thus Trump lashed out at Darren Woods, CEO of ExxonMobil, for blurting out the obvious truth that Venezuelan oil is “uninvestable.” " "It’s been astonishing how quickly corporate greed has been replaced by corporate fear: Businesses who hoped to profit from Trump now toe the line because they’re afraid of being punished." "So businesspeople have a choice: Continue to abase themselves, destroying their dignity and their reputations, in an attempt to curry favor with a wannabe dictator who’s falling short, or show some spine. And that stiffening of the spine must be a collective endeavour. To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin, talking about how to deal with another tyrant: If you don’t hang together, you’ll all hang separately"

"Why is the UK so distressed about Trump acquiring Greenland, when they themselves possess the Falkland Islands? Truly, I wonder." The Falklands, populated from Britain, want to remain British. Greenland (ceded to Denmark in 1917 by the US, after a dispute, in exchange for what are now the US Virgin Islands, then owned by Denmark) does not want to become American. Another reason being that the US is proposing to steal territory from its treaty-bound, official allies. Some hidebound traditionalists consider that this is undesirable, but of course, muggers don't.

The situation with Greenland is different, yet fundamentally similar; both parties assert ownership over land that rightfully does not belong to them. It simply defies logic.

"Why is the UK so distressed about Trump acquiring Greenland, when they themselves possess the Falkland Islands? Truly, I wonder. The Falklands, populated from Britain, want to remain British. We are discussing the land itself, not the individuals residing upon it. I find it perplexing how this land can be considered part of the UK, situated 8,000 miles away, while Argentina, which is only 300 miles distant, lays claim to it. The situation with Greenland is different, yet fundamentally similar; both parties assert ownership over land that rightfully does not belong to them. It simply defies logic. A lot of what a nation's people hold dear isn't based on logic ... That doesn't diminish its importance and value though. The Falklands matters to the British ... and the Falklanders themselves, who are probably far more British than a lot of people with British citizenship in the UK. My point is, why complain about the USA's interest in Greenland? The desires of the population are irrelevant; it is fundamentally about power. Because it involves Donald Trump... That is the fundamental factor that gets people's backs up. This chapter is just the latest in a very long saga involving the U.S.A and Greenland en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_United_States_acquisition_of_Greenland" I'd say it's the unjust invasion of a peaceful country that's getting peoples backs up. It could've been Obama as president and people would have acted with just as much outrage. Because what they are doing is wrong.

"While I agree with not buying American stuff, other than McDonalds what is there? Most of the shit we buy in the UK is from China!! I'd love to have an alternative to that!!" I've always thought that as a project the government should set up a factory in the UK and run it with the culture of China to ascertain if we can replicate their successful business strategy, for the exercise the product could be anything. We can't continue to accept that the broken UK with it's benefit culture can't produce anything. If we want different results then we need to do things differently and that starts with having a government that consists of ministers that excel in their chosen position and not just the best of a bad bunch of elected MPs The fact that the US can choose the best people for government positions is the way to go.

China's success comes from a mix of factors, including state-led investment, infrastructure, and often harsh labour conditions and practices, not just its culture. The UK has strengths in areas such as aerospace, technology and service industries. Effective government relies on the expert skills of civil servants advising the government which is already the case. Perhaps strengthening this expertise and minimising political interference could improve decision-making. Ideally, governments would step back entirely, letting industry experts drive innovation and growth in a free market with minimal interference. Investing in innovation, skills, and infrastructure could boost UK productivity, best achieved through private sector-led initiatives.

"Does anyone avoid Chinese products? Double standards to avoid American ones but support the Chinese economy and government with its human rights record. What has China done to Britain or Europe recently?" Well, they want to build a super embassy in London. But they don't want to declare what the basement rooms be used for. They have a very poor record for respecting IP rights. They are driven, and focused on the long term. In a way I can admire them, but I don't trust them.

However, given that the assertions lack logic and thus far, only the untamed forces have determined their rightful place, why is there now an outcry regarding the USA when they themselves were responsible for seizing these lands???

"Let us not overlook the fact that Denmark transferred ownership of what are now known as the U.S. Virgin Islands to the United States for a sum of $25 million in gold." Based on US internal planning the price tag for Greenland would be around £525 Billion. Also Denmark provides Greenland around £500 Million in subsidies which the US would have to replace. Not a bad deal for Greenland, and Europe as a whole to retain strategic security in the area.

"Let us not overlook the fact that Denmark transferred ownership of what are now known as the U.S. Virgin Islands to the United States for a sum of $25 million in gold. The hypocrisy exhibited by European nations especially France , Germany and UK is truly astonishing. " Context: this happened in 1917, and followed a period when the US was previously hoping to take over Greenland. The Danish Caribbean deal was contingent on the US abandoning its (imaginary) claim to Greenland. Though it's just conceivable that Denmark might consider paying $25M to cancel the deal and get the USVI back, that doesn't seem to be in the orange property scammer's playbook.

Such as being the vice president that steps up following a pre-planned resignation of a stooge president Or using republican control of congress to introduce legislation to postpone elections due to the US being at war, choosing to declare it on whichever smaller country they feel they can, so as to manipulate the situation into being a qualifying factor.

"If you don’t agree with Trump or American foreign policy, there is nothing that anyone can do. It’s as simple as that. Nobody on the planet can stand up to Uncle Sam and nobody will try. As for boycotting American products? A small percentage of a few European countries who participate in a boycott isn’t going to make much of a difference is it? America does what it wants. They won’t use force to take Greenland because they know that won’t look good, no matter how much Trump threatens it. They will eventually purchase Greenland from Denmark through aggressive diplomacy and bullying. Denmark will get well compensated one way or another but they won’t have a say on any of it. Wonder if he stops there? Or will he keep looking East touting Russian aggression as his excuse? Who’s next? Iceland? Norway? Scotland? It wont be Scotland, they’re desperate for independence aren’t they?

I was discussing the hypocrisy of leftists… ….Leftists often behave like tape recorders, and many individuals who supported Trump believe they are merely listening to these tape recorders. They do not hear anything from leftists regarding Russia, where it is even illegal to disseminate information—even in private conversations. In China and Russia, the internet is restricted; countless individuals have been imprisoned, tortured, or killed. Yet, have we ever witnessed any discussions from leftists about these issues here? Certainly not, but there are 100 threads about Trump swearing at him every day …fake videos of Trump, followed by more hypocrisy concerning the movements in Palestine and Iran. That individual Greta has been silenced throughout in these days . I could easily write a book here about the hypocrisy of leftists.

Weren't you aware that you have entangled yourself with my statement and involved yourself in the issue I was clarifying to him regarding his admiration for Trump? Once again, as I mentioned, you consistently pay attention to the recordings of leftists, who endlessly reiterate their points until they initiate a new discussion about Trump and continue to repeat themselves.

Do you believe this is the territory of Russia and the domain of leftists, where you can dictate the topics I should discuss? .. I find no obligation to respond to you .. I do not engage with tape recorders, yet it hardly requires a genius to uncover the answer here ??

Who’s next? Iceland? Norway? Scotland? Why do you say that no one can stand up to Uncle Sam? Have you not heard about Vietnam from which Uncle Sam ran home with his tail between his legs, or of Afghanistan where an ignorant bunch of religious zealots also chased Uncle Sam scuttling back home. I am old enough to have known lots of British soldiers who fought with the yanks in WW2 and I never met one who had any respect for them. The yanks elected this bag of wind to be their leader and actually he suits them very well.
