What an incredible life he's had. Hard to believe he was in his 40s when he became Doctor #4. Looked nothing like it.

Numbers 1 and 2 (Hartnell and Troughton) died tragically young at 67 when they were still great character actors and you could imagine them having parts in movies and TVs into their dotage if they had their health.

I actually saw Jon Pertwee in 1989 in Birmingham for that stage show thing The Ultimate Adventure… He collapsed on stage saying he didn’t feel well (that was very worrying…) and that was the time David Banks had to stand in. In the audience we thought Pertwee might have died.

T Baker is still as active as ever with voice work.
