In the interests of national security - The Epstein files have been placed on a witness protection program .... Currently in a politically Polyamorous safehouse, somewhere in Akron Ohio, with the Hunter Biden laptop and Monica Lewinsky's dress (which now self-identifies as a tablecloth)

Trump is a genius because he's a disrupter and he's got full global attention which is key to his success.

Boris and Nige have been out nearest equivalent of disrupters who are capable of grabbing attention.

Our lame duck Starmer could vanish tomorrow and nobody would miss him or even care.

The qualities of Trump and Musk etc to constantly remain in the public eye is a key ingredient for success.

For decades the US has been the protector of Europe. It suited the US ego and the European laziness. Now, Europe is finally waking up. It will take a long time to build up armed forces and institutions but, evenually, Europe will not need the US.

I do find it weird how people can be anti-social justice on this site when you are part of a minority who until relatively recently, didn’t have equal rights to straight people, and until even more recently, were regularly regarded as disgusting, pedo-adjacent, not “masculine” and would be the butt of jokes openly on mainstream media.

The whole point of “wokeness” or social justice is ensure everyone has equal access to opportunity, rights and entitlements and are treated equally despite our inherent differences. Any other definition is a strawman. To be anti-woke is literally to support people’s ability to discriminate based on things like sexual orientation and if you’re on this site, you will be in their crosshairs at some point

Not sure he’s a genius, but he was voted in by the majority of American voters to do the best job he could for America, not Europe, not the rest of the world.

Now he’s manage to gain Venezuelan oil, given the USA a stronger grip in the Middle East. He’s chasing Greenland minerals etc. He wants to make the USA even bigger with a border with Russia, so I’d say hes doing his job pretty well. That's a very clever way of putting it. Same response with a slightly different semantic is that the US military has been Europe's bitch since the 50s and finally they have a leader who says "Why?? Bollocks to that".

Can you tell us why the US should be protecting Europe? Other than going for the grandfather clause?

Yeah because mutual alliances benefit everyone and contribute to better security. If the USA breaks its alliance with Europe then they’ve lost 500k soldiers from Poland, an absurd amount of artillery from Scandinavia, arguable the worlds best Special Forces from the UK and a nuclear deterrent from France who can look out for US interests. Now to balance that, yes Europe needs to pull its own weight a lot more than it has and is one of the few things I agree with the oversized Wotzit on

Agreed with your main point but need to point out: Greenland is not really about minerals. It's about being on the great circle route for ICBMs from Russia and/or China headed towards the US. It's a perfect place to site ICBM defenses. Also - the mercator projection doesn't show this but look on a round globe - it pretty much gives complete access to Russias northern coastline.

Why isn’t taking Russia in the USA’s national security interest then? Given that’s where the ICBMs would come from, or China? Strategic ends doesn’t justify authoritarian means. It would be great if there was some sort of treaty organisation for security of the North Atlantic…

Unfortunately it seems being a minority oneself doesn't preclude some people from being anti social justice for other minorities.

What is apparent is that if one challenges an agenda that infringes upon others rights you are accused of being a seditious leftist.

No middle ground allowed, you cannot be centrist or even right leaning if you have compassion, any hint of socialism and you are a subversive communist.

The preference of ad hominem tactics reflects their intellectual inability to engage in debate.

The paradox that their claims to cultural erasure is their version of being woke is lost on them.

Regardless of why Trump wants Greenland - if he does, and it isn't just another talking point and distraction - Canada's PM, Mark Carney has spelled it out for us lesser nations: the old order is dead as from now.

The big powers have started a new game. They're collecting the cards from all the players, and dealing them out between themselves. This is the new imperialism. The smaller countries are irelevant ,and if they object they'll be squashed, economically or militarily.

Sorry, chaps. We're back to mediaeval. Rearm.

Ok, genuine question - how has Trump strengthened his country and made US citizens better?

Without taking the cowards way out and telling me to 'do my own research', give me one example how American's lives have improved since he's been in power?

“GENIUS” what a ridiculous joke.

I have just watched this criminal lunatic giving one of his stupid performances from Davos, wall to wall lies and gross exaggerations. Anyone would be embarrassed by this incredibly stupid individual being your head of state. Only good thing is that EU has at least woken up to the threat that he is to the entire world.

"Trump is a genius because he's a disrupter and he's got full global attention which is key to his success.

If as I suspect, he is continuously being provocative in order to disrupt the markets. In order for his inner circle to make massive financial gains. Then I guess you can call him a genius. Its why usually marches to the top of the hill, then marches down again.

Like he withdrew the threat of military force and the markets bounced back.

In his speech he apparently referred to Iceland when he meant Greenland four times!

He said he’s not going to take Greenland by force and after the speech said he’s cancelling the tariffs he was going to impose.

It’s a cliche but you couldn’t make it up.

He's stated that there's 'no going back' on acquiring Greenland and he won't rule out force, just won't use it 'yet'. TACO? A lesson in negotiation: Step 1, starting point, go for the maximum (Greenland or anything). Step 2: Obtain the counteroffer, which is likely to be significantly different from what you want. Step 3: Negotiate from positions to an agreement that satisfies both parties. You ALWAYS settle for less than your opening bid.

The parrotting TACO voice boxes know nothing about trade.

As far as I am aware, Trump's stance on Greenland hasn't changed - he's still keen on acquiring it, citing national strategic security concerns and wanting to prevent Russia and China from gaining influence in the region. He's seeking immediate talks with Denmark and has now ruled out using military force, focusing instead on a framework for a future deal with NATO, the deal reportedly involves access to mineral rights for the US and its European allies despite there being huge geological issues involved according to US-based scientists.

To reiterate what's already been said, Trump's administration has shifted towards seeking a diplomatic solution, ruling out military force and exploring a framework deal with NATO, focusing on mineral rights and national security concerns. This isn't about who's changed position, it's about adapting strategies. The framework deal is reportedly in place, with talks ongoing between the US, Denmark, and Greenland.

To reiterate what's already been said, Trump's administration has shifted towards seeking a diplomatic solution, ruling out military force and exploring a framework deal with NATO, focusing on mineral rights and national security concerns. This isn't about who's changed position, it's about adapting strategies. The framework deal is reportedly in place, with talks ongoing between the US, Denmark, and Greenland.....what's your scource for the framework deal being in place...?

Presumably you mean 'source'? The information is available from reputable international news agencies, including Bloomberg and Reuters, reporting on the framework deal. If you want more details, I would suggest that you check their reports online.

"

...I did actually...they reported on trump saying its in place....no actual details of the deal itself...they also reported that Greenland have reiterated that Greenland's sovereignty is non negotiable ....

"The cat is certainly among the pigeons ... and their horror at his continuing success is a constant wellspring of schadenfreude.....his continuing success...?..please enlighten me...

Milking time again already!?! ....actually it's "put up,or shut up" time ...which one are you going with..?..he backed down on the Greenland/Iceland invasion...didn't you know....hahaha

Not quite James!....Trump hasn't 'backed down' on Greenland at all, he's still pushing hard. He's stated that there's 'no going back' on acquiring Greenland and he won't rule out force, just won't use it 'yet'. And yeah, of course, he's confused Greenland with Iceland, which doesn't help his case at all!

I'm afraid you are wrong this time, he's totally backed down, as usual he wants all the world worrying about him. Except where the epstein files are concerned obviously.

He's vile and yes, taco.

As far as I am aware, Trump's stance on Greenland hasn't changed - he's still keen on acquiring it, citing national strategic security concerns and wanting to prevent Russia and China from gaining influence in the region. He's seeking immediate talks with Denmark and has now ruled out using military force, focusing instead on a framework for a future deal with NATO, the deal reportedly involves access to mineral rights for the US and its European allies despite there being huge geological issues involved according to US-based scientists....so basically what you're saying is...trump is the only one who has changed their position...he now wants to talk...?...Greenland/Iceland certainly haven't changed theirs, and there is certainly no "framework document in place.

Fair enough, obviously the precise details are still in negotiations, but the reports are based on Trump's statement about a framework deal. Greenland's stance on sovereignty is well established, but we'll have to wait for more info on where talks are headed.

He's now rabbiting on about how great he is, most if it is totally untrue.

Keeps blabbing about his so called board of peace that seems to include the leaders of Russia and Isreal who are still bombing people.

11 killed in Palestinine and on the borders on Lebanon while grampa said he's stopped the isreal gaza war.

Yesterday his press secretary denied he had said Iceland instead of Greenland. He said it 3 times.

He's lost the plot.

If you don't agree with what someone gas said then write a detailed opposing argument and justify it with a sourse. Asking someone to quote their source is just lazy.

They are the appropriate individuals to invite because if they are not included, it will never occur. Hand over these peace negotiations to European nations, and you will never witness peace in your lifetime. European countries primarily focus on their own interests, seeking to exploit the Middle East. Consider the current situation in Iran; they have barely spoken out because they receive substantial financial support from those in power. Have they taken the initiative to ban the IRGC? So far, they have not, as long as the money keeps flowing in, they are content to allow the regime to oppress its own citizens to maintain control. The IRGC has been designated as a terrorist organization by the USA, Canada, and recently Argentina, yet European nations remain oblivious, prioritizing financial gain. Have they ever approached China or Russia to refrain from aiding these terrorists? Never. Therefore, my argument is that Europeans are not genuinely interested in peace anywhere; they only care about receiving their money from these nasty regimes.

James can, despite your erroneous allegations, I have already categorically stated that my sources are Reuters and Bloomberg, respectively, reporting on Trump's framework deal announcement. Can you therefore clarify what evidence you have to support your claim that about my sources being Reuters and Bloomberg were falsifications? Accusing me of being untruthful is a serious and libelous claim - do you have evidence to back it up? I'd appreciate it if you'd correct your assertion immediately!

...Bloomberg and Reuters reported on trumps "claim" that there was a framework in place...not details of an actual deal...but didn't you already concede that point? .there is no deal, or no talks about a deal.

I am NOT in

There is no framework, Trump later diluted it to “we have a concept of a deal” in his post DAVOS interview with CNBC.

Neither matter, it was a conversation between Trump and Mark Rutte, who's position as NATO General Secretary affords him no power over a sovereign state.

He is the chief civil servant of NATO, an international diplomat responsible for coordinating the workings of the alliance, chairing meetings and acting as spokesperson. Political, military and strategic decisions ultimately rest with the member states.

A. There can’t be a framework without having Greenland and Denmark as part of the negotiations, neither were part of that 'conversation'.

B. Trump would need a super majority vote to pass any such treaty in congress, the constitution only gives the president the power “by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur”

They did not claim that they have not accepted, as you mentioned, did they? As I previously stated, they oscillate between affirmatives and negatives, leaving everyone in a state of uncertainty. Furthermore, it served as a caution to those who are heeding Putin's words to verify their information.

They did not claim that they have not accepted, as you mentioned, did they? As I previously stated, they oscillate between affirmatives and negatives, leaving everyone in a state of uncertainty. Furthermore, it served as a caution to those who are heeding Putin's words to verify their information."

"He's now rabbiting on about how great he is, most if it is totally untrue.

You mentioned that Russia did not accept it, which was a commendable attempt. Please scroll up and review it, then inform me of your thoughts. Additionally, you were certainly not among them when they conversed with one another? Ha ha ha.

Haha. Just him and some other dictators, what could possibly go wrong.

I do wonder if he's saying this simply because he can't control nato.

He's like a school kid starting his own club because the educated kids won't let him be in charge of theirs.

That was not what you were saying . You were asserting that Putin reprimanded him, which is a significantly different statement to make. I am unaware of the details of the conversation and cannot provide you with that information. One of them is lying, and I suspect that in this instance, it was Putin, although I cannot be certain. Nonetheless, it is not a major issue; they may still attend.

Now, according to Google's AI thingie -

'Chimpanzees fling feces primarily as an expression of aggression, frustration, or to assert dominance, particularly in captive settings. This behavior serves as a way to communicate hostility towards humans or other chimps when they cannot physically reach them.

This is a common behavior that is seen in chimpanzees, and it is a way for them to express their emotions and to communicate with others. It is often used to get a reaction from the recipient.'

Fascinating stuff!

It appears to be the opinion of the vast majority responding to the OP that the criminal in question is indeed a convicted fraudster, a r-pest, draft dodger, mass murderer and almost certainly a phedophile (we await the Epsilon files), not to mention his endless string of lies. This can all be proven so can we not simply accept that this individual is a disgusting example of humanity?

I suspect he already is, especially after his appalling performance in Davos yesterday. He has always been a deranged half-witt, but yesterday he clearly demonstrated his lunacy to the entire world.

You mentioned that Russia did not accept it, which was a commendable attempt. Please scroll up and review it, then inform me of your thoughts. Additionally, you were certainly not among them when they conversed with one another? Ha ha ha.....I didn't have to be among them....both made public announcements...didn't you know...?

However, none of them expressed what you articulated?...they did....trump said putin accepted....the Russians said its under consideration...what's your take on it?

That was not what you were saying . You were asserting that Putin reprimanded him, which is a significantly different statement to make. I am unaware of the details of the conversation and cannot provide you with that information. One of them is lying, and I suspect that in this instance, it was Putin, although I cannot be certain. Nonetheless, it is not a major issue; they may still attend. ...that's not what I implied...putin made a liar out of trump...who still hasn't replied...which is telling in itself

Are you implying that I am unable to comprehend what you have previously written for us? 😄 If Putin does not attend, which is a possibility, it would not alter the fact that he is a significant liar. I have no trust in him whatsoever. I believe Trump was speaking the truth, although I am not entirely certain. This is my perspective.....trump is a proven liar....I admire your slavish devotion to the dear leader....and I agree putin is a liar...but trump is streets ahead..

Ha ha ha say something different that might engage me

"

.....he just called into question the courage of British troops...?....are you OK with that.

He might do something about education and literacy. "

"It appears to be the opinion of the vast majority responding to the OP that the criminal in question is indeed a convicted fraudster, a r-pest, draft dodger, mass murderer and almost certainly a phedophile (we await the Epsilon files), not to mention his endless string of lies. This can all be proven so can we not simply accept that this individual is a disgusting example of humanity?"

Ah, the classic 'woke' slur. As if that's meant to be an insult. I'd rather be woke than a GB News watching slob.
