I ve heard of similar and the cruising spot i used to frequent used to have its police visits. I was told by an ex cop that they sometimes just used to take reg numbers etc. I ve been checked out closely by a drive by unit but luckily I was living in my van at the time and so had lots of blankets over me..and them. By brother in law is in the police and we discussed men in cruising sites ( there is a large very popular cruising lay-by near me) and they are told to only get involved if there’s a public complaint or they see an public indecency offence.
