Not the first, won’t be the last. Sooner or later this useless bunch of incompetents that are rushing to a party that might get elected will cause so many problems that Reform might actually lose their popularity, and leave the door open for a 2nd Labour win.

Great news, I like Suella. Lots more to follow I hope. Love to see Kemi Badenoch join the rush. I expect a few Labour MP's will follow.

Agree. Reform risks identification as the party of the unprincipled - caution, though; that worked quite well for the MAGA base under Trump. But whoever wins the next election, I don't think it will be the man in the street.

Silly woman. Of course I could be wrong. None of us can predict the future. I still think Reform is a bit of a 'flash in the pan' and the political landscape could look very different come the 2029 election. Opinion polls are notoriously unreliable but recent defections have not exactly boosted Reform. Indeed, if anything, they are showing a very modest recovery for both Labour and Conservatives. A lot of people are not impressed with renegade treachery.

Genuine question to those thare are looking to vote Reform - will you still consider to vote for them now that a vast majority of Tory MPs have defected over. The same MPs who were part of the shitshow that put the country in the mess it is now and the ones Farage has condemed in the past?

(The Forces are) also being used willy-nilly in a way they shouldn’t be, particularly when there have been cuts to their numbers and there is a major security situation in Europe.

“If they have got spare troops they should be putting them in Estonia.”

PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka said: "This is pure desperation by Suella Braverman.

“Time and again, the military has been clear it has its own job to do and doesn’t want to spend time covering for the government's failures...."

Precisely. It's becoming a haven for the utterly inept that were rightly and comprehensively rejected at the last election. Come, vote for the shower - by a new name - that condemned thousands to death through their incompetence, presided over record (STILL) levels of legal and illegal migration, ran every single public service into the ground and, crucially, more than trebled the national debt whilst fanfaring their fiscal prudence!

Hardly 'reform', is it? Unless, of course, you're plain (or willingly) thick or motivated by their evil bigotry.

14 years of incompetence is always trotted out. Judging by the present government one can be forgiven for wondering how well they would have done. We can be pretty certain from their comments at the time, that their reaction to the pandemic would have been even worse than the Tories

Funny that of all the present party leaders, the only sane and normal human being is Kemi Badenoch

But do they? Or is it a case that the Faragites are using the Armed Forces as a political hot potato to try and convince the gullible that they are true patriots. One top admiral has expressed his concerns about a potential Reform government deploying the navy to do its 'dirty work'. Still think Reforms jargon is all gung-ho and jingo-istic to appeal to peoples baser instincts.

Pure opinion and light on facts - no one can say with any degree of authority what Labour may or may not have done. All we have is the Conservatives record. The electorate voted and we see the results. The same will happen next time there is a General Election. If you want to be taken seriously, don’t make such ridiculous statements such as Kemi is the ‘only’ sane and ‘normal’ leader.

Winston Churchill changed parties ... Twice. Didn't do him any harm.

I can imagine Reform changing its name to the True Conservatives ... The old Tory party is in very real danger of becoming a relic of its former self, much like the Liberal Party in the 1920s.

Labour is itself a power keg waiting to go off ... Starmer's days are certainly numbered ... and then the mass backstabbings will commence.

Labours recent decisions regarding northern Ireland veterans shows exactly what this shower of shit is about.

Plus what appears to be their policy regarding illegal immigrants as opposed to their own British citizens especially OAPs, homeless etc.

Yes I will. Reform needed people who know their way around the civil service ( which I think needs a complete clear out!)

It is the only party of strength to make changes. I really like Rupert Lowe and Ben Habib but do jot think their parties are large enough to survive the Westminster bubble. I think they could do well after the next election. Once a dramatic change has been made to our political landscape

There is another thread in the forum whereby a poster intimates that Reform appeal to the less educated. When one writes badly when attempting to portray ones point of view, it really does lessen the impact, you know.

Labour MPs voted last week to allow the prosecution of our Northern Ireland veterans, scrapping the protections we had put in place.

This sums up the fake priorities of this awful government of human rights lawyers.

No wonder you cannot recruit for armed forces when our own government wants to prosecute them

Well the ballot is secret and I doubt we will get a general election before the Spring/Summer of 2029 by which time the whole face of politics could have changed. I do get a vote this May for the Welsh Senedd on a multi candidate constituency vote where you vote for the party rather than a person. I have voted Conservative in every UK parliamentary election since October 1974 and will continue to do so.
