I want to start playing the guitar. Does anyone recommend any apps, online lessons. I’ve looked at things like the fender app or guitar tricks

Search for Paul Davids on Youtube. His lessons are excellent. He also offers courses. They cost about £199, but you get 35 or so lessons and you have lifetime access.

Django Riegnheart, a gypsy jazz player had a mangled right hand in a caravan fire! He still managed to be one of the words greatest players! Amazing...

agree Paul David’s is excellent. Also Texas Blue Alley has a great beginners course. Don’t let the name put you off. He is blues based but the fundamentals are the same. Good luck. I’m a self taught player of +40 yrs.

I use the Ultimate Guitar site and app. Tons of tabs and sheet music on there, including official ones. They do lessons, too.

Yes YouTube was my go to as well. Nice and simple videos. Sadly haven't picked it up in years but it's still something I would like to do again.

As mentioned, Justin Guitar is probably the best and it's UK based so no annoying Americans, I find with a lot of the American online tutors on youtube etc their lessons are basically a sales pitch so they give you a bit of a taster lesson so you buy the full course, Justin doesn't do that.
