Personal preference I have had iPhones since they came out. Simple to use easy layout and just work and do what they say on the tin. I usually get 5-6yrs out of one before the battery starts to play up. I find android based phones a bit of a faff compared to iOS.

Same, Apple stuff just works without a problem, I’ve had IPhones since they first came out, besides the phone side of them, the physical quality of them, nothing else comes close, they feel beautiful . I’d never have another brand or android, my mrs has a Samsung and it feels horribly cheap and horrible to use.

Personal preference for me is iPhone over Android. While not a great fan of Apple, iOS is a better, more secure, less intrusive, and more controllable O/S than Android.

A friend who has an android phone has issues, with Android downloading updates while on mobile data for example, also issues with it keeping on turning location services on when he has turned them off. Then there are all the adverts in apps which are not there on the same app in iOS.

Just my observations, don’t know if they help or not.

They’re simple to use when you get used to them, you can always go to the Apple Store and the technicians will be happy to give you a tutorial and walkthrough on how to set everything up

Always loved iPhones. Only annoying thing is the endless software updates that use up all your memory. Turn off updates. Buy a used one from Giffgaff. Saves a fortune.

I'm the opposite, bought into Android early and can't stand iPhone OS (have to use one for work), I just find it obstructive where Droid is fluid and very fast on a Google Pixel.

I do get that it's what I'm used to, obviously.

Love iPhones - I’ve had them since they came out and get about 6yrs out of one. I have the IPhone 16 max Pro. And love it - big screen lots of memory. Down side is it’s expensive - I also have an iPhone 13 for work and just as good. Get a good case and screen protector. 👍🏻

I'm the same, Android are far less expensive and just as good as Apple. I know a few people who have Apple phones purely due to snob value.

I also prefer the freedom of choice that Android allows. Problems with being "tied into" the Apple ecosystem often relate to intense vendor lock-in, where the tight integration of hardware, software, and services makes it difficult, expensive, or inconvenient to switch to alternatives.

I have used both IPhone and android. My personal preference is andriod I find it easier to use and much more intuitive. But each to there own. I know a few who say the same abiut IPhone. I suggest seeing if you can have a play with one of each and see how you get on.

Same, always been an android user, I'm not getting into the old android/iOS argument, it's what I know and I like it

Been using Apple products since the early 90’s, they just work and unlike Windows they work straight out of the box with no need to never ending patches. Had iPhones since the iPhone3 they last long and owned a 7 used constantly for 7 years. Just updated to a 17pro max, superb cameras, nice having a larger screen and brilliant for photography in low light.

In a world of my own

Have an Apple iPhone find it very user friendly and extremely good, carry a ‘dumb’ phone too fir emergency non internet access as well.
