It's adapted from an absolute classic novel that posits the theory that young non-adult humans will revert quickly to a completely feral state with a lack of rules, put as simply as possible. They try to create their own rules modelled on what they remember of prelapsarian life, but fail massively.

On the BBC is it? Then it'll be 'heavily adapted for the modern audience' .... and serve as a timely reminder about the inate problems with male toxicity, white privilege, environmentalism .... and something vaguely relating to Andrew Tate.
